I am not going to allow Kevin Rudd to export any more mangoes,

Mangoes originate in INDIA, Jess!

The US grows their own!

listed by the country in which they were selected or are most extensively cultivated
USA:
Florida: Dot, Florigon, Glenn, Haden, Irwin, Keitt, Kent, Nam Doc Mai, Springfeld, Tommy Atkins, Zill; dwarf cultivars: 'Cogshall', 'Fairchild', 'Ice Cream', 'RosiGold', 'Manilita', 'Neelum'
Hawaii: Momi K, Pope

The CDC also has a list and info on diseases that are common or can jump from primates to humans!

ScienceDaily (Aug. 24, 2006) — Viruses that jump the species barrier between monkeys and humans can harm both people and animals, and we should take steps to reduce the risk of virus transmission. That's the message running through the September issue of the American Journal of Primatology, a special issue on disease risk analysis edited by a primate expert at the University of Washington

This is more an issue involving common sense than culture!

There are tribes in Africa, The Mandurian Tribe for one, that smear cow urine on their children and them selves to ward off inscects!

Should we allow that here? There are quite a few health risks to this practice! Its not a cultural issue!!

I think I read in a recent national geographic that it is possible that AIDS jumped to humans from primates because someone in Africa ate one for food.

some interesting points made

hhhmmmmmmmm

maybe world travel and trade should be

made illegal to prevent the spread of unwanted

cultural issues deemed unsafe hhhhhmmmmmmmmm

is it not that they are not

inspected nor processed properly

that makes them dangerous

after all if not for the inspections

beef would be infected with mad cow

which is hazardous to humans

would it not

Scientists believe that HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, started out as simian immunodeficiency virus (or SIV), and jumped to humans decades ago when African bush meat hunters became infected by the monkeys they were hunting for food. Other viruses, like influenza, have also jumped species barriers with frightening results.

it still goes back to control of the people

why say you can't have it

grow them here and

make it pass inspection

can it be that easy
