I know I havent been on this site long but all the girls I want to date live elsewhere. ANd I work too much to date a girl around here.
will I ever really find the one or will I just date for the rest of my life? I want to settle down someday but it doesnt seem like it will ever happen. |

OK, everyone goes through that phase "will i ever find the one" and i think you will find someone, but most ppl dont find "the one". But it will happen when you least expect it, not when your looking, trust me, there is someone for everyone.

I disagree with the girls on this one. I was looking, but just don't look too hard for "the one". Get to know some women and you get to know yourself and what you want in a woman. Then before you know it you know exactly what your looking for and how to "spot" her.

Life doesn't just lay on your lap, if it did, then you're gonna get out what you put into it, which is nothing.
Same with anything in life, even marriage. Stop contributing, stop receiving. It takes effort and faith working together.

What you are passing through almost everybody passes through, so you are not alone. Now get a hold of yourself and keep moving on. when the right person comes you need to be ready for her, but if you spend your time crying you won't be ready for her. |

You words sound so much like son's. He's just 19 and is trying to find a Christian girlfriend in MI. As I tell him, give it time and keep involved with other things. Dating isn't really what life is all about. Sometimes it's best to just make friends and enjoy them, until maybe someone does turn up. Keep up the positive thoughts though.
