It gets really tiresome to see random "Hi's" in any and every thread, thus I figured all of those creative minds could have one thread to stop in and say "Hi."

I did an experiment here once. After seeing quite a few very interesting discussions interrupted with a series of "Hi" replies I picked a few topics at random and posted "Hi" and even went as far as misspelling it with "hai" and found that noone noticed.

The plan is to insert your reply (face) into as many topics as possible to saturate them with your picture. But, I have NEWS for you, It Doesn't Work. You come off looking like a simpleton with an inability to form a coherent sentence with meaning.
Its like walking into a bar, screaming HI and walking out. The people that are there look at each other and laugh AT you.

I figure that most of these people have no idea how discussion forums work and figure any participation is better than nothing.

yep and from what i've seen they are running w/ recent posts as a sifter. hence the thought to get this pinned to the top preferably to the top of recent posts

That's a good idea Eric, I wonder though how well it would work. The rules are posted at the top and not many newbies read them.
