but I am really getting sick of all the youtube and myspace hype here. I am here at JSH because it is my ultimate choice. If I wanted to partake of youtube or myspace, I'd be there.....but I am not. I am here. Why? Because it is the place I am comfortable. I am comfortable because it is its own site. It is its own unique persona, unlike youtube or myspace. Please, save your advertisements and promotional feats. Let us have our JSH without the commercial breaks. We know what's out there, yet we choose to be here. Let us have JSH commercial free.

It certainly is not just you. I believe a few of us do feel the same way as you. I am relatively new here, and I do not want to step out of place with my opinion. I am glad to see someone who has been here for a while, with established credibility putting things right. Thank you.

I don't mind somebody doing a little 'advertising' of sites like MySpace once in a while. Sure, most of us are aware of it and what it's all about, but there's still a few people don't. After all, how did many of us find out about JSH (or any other place)? It's one thing if somebody's trying to advertise a business or porn site or something like that, but what's wrong with just spreading the word about another place where you can meet people (especially a totally free one)? If somebody wants to spread the word about MySpace or Facebook or whatever because they like the site, then what's really the harm (unless of course it's totally plastered over every single thread)? If somebody doesn't want anything to do with one of those sites then fine. It's your choice. But, what about those couple of people who've had thier head buried in the sand for the last 10 years and just might want to give it a try?

Lily -- I'm on the same page here, too. I have a policy of I don't go to ANY links because I'm not here for the purpose of going to links. If I'm really interested in seeing that video of the cat fighting the ash tray, I can look it up for myself.

As for MySnakes, the less said the better. I would rather see a discussion about seemynakedllama.com -- at least the llamas aren't cardboard cutouts, and they don't need to have 4352 other llamas on their friends list.

I do agree in supporting the site you use, which for me as well is this one. this is a great site and great community

But I have shared youtube vids in Charles DJ thread cuz it actually brings the music in here ........... I mean you can't post and email on youtube, but you can use it to enhance our threads sometimes.
