Well, besides that American colloquial term, Working Girl was also a pretty good movie, starring Melanie Griffith, Harrison Ford, and Sigourney Weaver. It was from 1988, which might have been before your time.

"For What It's Worth" is a great song, for something with only about two chords in it. Of course Stills and the guys had a lot more going on in the song besides the two chords.
