I didn't realise that I did this till yesterday, but sometimes I glimpse at the first or second time posters in forums , and take a guess as to whether they have deactivated or not a week after joining . I then check their account to see if I was right .
My guesses are accurate about 95% of the time  Have any of you ever done the same? If so, how correct are your guesses ? (Ps: And yes ... This may be a good sign that I/we need to get a life)  |

ahhh u did that to me too
 No. too soon for me to look for innovative ways of entertainment here. still everything seems new to me did u think i would give up or not?

I used to set my screen to NOT show the poster, just their words.
I would post replies without knowing to whom I was replying. While modding, I would tag them that way also and did not know who it was until emailing them. (Stopped though, when I tagged another mod's post for removal hahahaha) I got really good at guessing who it was before seeing their name/profile/picture. For years..now I am just fond of guessing :-) We are our words :-) |

(Stopped though, when I tagged another mod's post for removal hahahaha) I got really good at guessing who it was before seeing their name/profile/picture. For years..now I am just fond of guessing :-) We are our words :-) Oh that's cool, and I agree about us being our words. I do that with the quotes, I'll try to guess who the poster is quoting and then go look. I'm only about 50% accurate but am getting better at it the longer that I'm here. Oh and to peggy..... In your case, I was intrigued by one of your posts, and was curious about you becauseof it . I usually only play the deactivation game with first time or second time posters . You had gone way beyond that :) |

I'm thinking maybe the percentage is even higher. If only the rates of getting it right were this good when playing the lottery... I'd start playing again right away! |

Wow... That's actually a cool idea soufie! But I cant believe you edited a mod lol. How did they react? But for all those who used to wonder if they were 'targeted' by who they were, I could not get more fair than popping them BEFORE I knew who they were. And that's the way I rolled :-) |

sometimes i play a game similar to soufies, but what i do
is pick a new thread with about 10-15 replies and scroll slowly until the posters name is revealed then stop if its someone i know, i guess what they will say.. i'm pretty good at it too..

This may be a good sign that I/we need to get a life) I do that also peggy but in my case I have been doing it too much because I check profiles regardless of whether they are new or a seasoned veteran and I even checked my own profile to see if I was still active. Talk about needing to get a life.
