Single mother of two amazing boys (13 & 10). My youngest lives with me, my oldest is out of state but with me every chance I get to snatch him up. Those booger-butts are my heart and soul!!

Now just putting this here as I believe in total transparency. I have been separated for the past 3 years (estranged and living apart), divorcing the past year and finally almost through with it. I have remained completely single during this time, just focusing on healing and working on myself. I feel too many folks just try to jump in and out of things these days... to be frank, that's just messy. You can't be at your best if you don't heal or work on your self. I am a domestic abuse survivor who flipped the script and advocates where I can for those who are coming out of situations like I was in.

We all have our baggage, I do not judge nor fault anyone for theirs, I will however judge if you decide to despair and use it as a place to stay rather than a motivator to aggregate change. Grit creates the pearl and I'm a firm believer in having a "rise above" mentality. Life sure can be nasty sometimes but I feel we are not defined by circumstance, but what we allow ourselves to become.

I drink upon occasion but I'm not into the club/bar scene so if that's your cup of tea, I'm just not the woman for you. I'm goal & family oriented. I believe in cultivating things with soul. I can be a wild card with a thirst for adventure with the proper partner in crime ;)

What I need most in my life is consistency..... so if you enter my life. What ever you are... whoever you are, be consistently him. I'm at a point in life I've grown to love the sound of my feet walking away from anything that isn't for me, so please believe me when I say I am perfectly whole on my own. I will not add someone to my life unless I see intrinsic value. I am not looking for a knight. I am not looking for someone to finance me. I am not looking for someone to be a "yes" man and continually give me what he thinks I want. I take my time getting to know people, if I find someone I'm interested enough in getting to know on a deeper level... Than he has my attention & focus. I don't talk to multiple people. I'm loyal, I'm honest, and expect that of you.

I'm grown and expect you to be as well. I avoid drama like the plague, it just drains the life out of my spirit.
