I tried to, but after being in love with her for over 25 years, and regularly getting heartbroken by her love of A holes, F wits and losers, I had to walk away and never see her again.
She then stalked me by phone until I got it cut off. She only wanted to be amused and entertained by me, and talk/complain to me about the antics of the morons she preferred to be with. DON'T DO IT.

No. I have never and will never date a friend.
First, I couldn't fall in love with a friend. Too awkward. And second, friendship - real friendship, not those people who come around when they need something - is too valuable to waste it on a romantic adventure that has a 50/50 chance of turning into a horrible nightmare. . |

I would love to BECAUSE I feel that friendship involves more of a foundation of commitment and respect than mere 'dating' ever can, and with that base, dating would be much more fulfilling ... for me.

Me and my man friend keep having miscommunication, so I don't feel we right for any committed relationship.

Yes, I will as long that he will be respecting my decisions and my feelings. I would. Some of the best marriages that I've known about were people who were great friends to start with. |
