I'm going to the gym and practicly killing myself with the equipment so I can lose weight. Three months ago I was a size 44 panats now I'm at size 38 pants. All it took was proper diet and excercise. Because weight sgouldn't matter. Even though my last regualr girlfiend was in 1985 I've dated since then. I've dated ladies who were average, and overweight. I'm also working out because when one has a good fitness lelvel then they won't have as many health problems has those who are not at a good fitness level. Because when one in physicly fit (we need speel check on these boards) one lives longer. When I do get married eventualy I want to be with that soecial lady for as long as possible.

dont tell me how to react. i can laugh at things just fine. i just dont find it funny when people make fun of other people. it doesnt matter what the situation is. its not funny.

make fun of yourself all you want, but i do not make fun of myself or others. anyone who does i feel is very insecure and needs to do so to feel better about things. JMO

I WILL NOT tell this post or this site or a lady here, a lie to make THEM feel better about their looks and in life..

Again, if your weight doesn't bother you than you shouldn't be complaining why other people judge your datability on it, if it does hit the weights. I'll admit, I'm carrying more weight around my belly than I'd like to, so I'm working out again. The world won't change for you, you don't have to change for it either, but pity parties are lame. Nobody has fun and even the clowns look sad.

That's fine and dandy but the fact remains that, like all animals, humans have had thousands of years---300,000 to 400,000--of evolutionary programming. Humans, again like other animals, have natural preferences for attractive and healthy mates (which historically and biologically meant not-too-fat and not-too-thin). Faulting folks for this is stupid.

That said, humans do have the ability to deny the basic physical preferences and look at other factors when choosing mates.

You know someone could yell at me because I like bigger men. Don't get me wrong...I love all men, but I really love bigger men...I like someone who has a little bit of meat on his bones. So actually I like a heavier man.
So, am I being judgemental? Some might say yes BUT guess what..this is what I like. Who cares if men don't like big girls? What is considered big in todays society anyway? I mean really!! Sure now the average size of a woman is size 16?? So what if I am under a size 16, I am not fat?? Be real people..its not what they think...its what you think of yourself. I can wear a size 12 jeans and I still consider myself a little chubby.
The main thing is that you are happy with you!! Are you really going to let something that someone on here ruin your day?? I don't think so....so just move on with your day!! Geesh, just realize that you are a good person with a big heart...sooner or later that right person will find you. Besides, if someone basis things on weight...do you really want them???

For the short period of time we are on this earth I think there are otherissues to discuss. Think about people who are fat by medical reasons etc. The reality is, hat picture's in all magazins are showing people who don't exist in that way. For one good picture, a whole team (hairdresser, make up etc) is working for at least 4 hourson on a model.

Question: why is it okay for a man (or a woman for that matter) to prefer fat women but not okay for a man to prefer thin women?

just my personal opinion on this matter.... I think that if you can't take care of yourself then why would I want to be with you? I mean it may sound shallow but, it's the truth. I don't want some one all depressed cause they are over weight and complains about it all the time yet, to lazy to get up and do something about it. I got enough going on to have to babysit that!
