It happens To everyone but me. It will happen...it always does No, seriously. I've given up as far as online goes. Online just doesn't work for me. I'm friendly, open and talkative. The way to get my attention is being able to engage me. Being able to converse with me. Most that I've met online in the past 10 or so years just can't seem to do that. I don't mean to be insulting to anyone. It's just, most that I've come across seem to have trouble stringing words together. I'm sure there are men like too. But many are just boring. |

I believe you need to be very guarded, don't allow yourself to feel the person you first meet online is any more than an acquaintance who may become a friend given time. To believe in any more than that before ever meeting them in person is setting yourself up for a fall in my opinion. |

Wise words indeed Sir, I am about to meet up with someone I have been conversing online with for some time now actually. I am apprehensive naturally, but I feel confident enough with the situation, in the chap, I am meeting and I have every precaution in place, as in letting someone from my family/friends know the who, when, where and for how long, as much detail as I can about this meeting. I also do not intend to place myself in any dangerous situation, keeping to public areas and avoiding any alone time, for now... |

I still dont get how one can fall in love with someone online when you haven't met them in person?
An online relationship is just fantasy, even if you see them on skype or whatsapp etc. Until you actually meet and spend time with them, its all an illusion. |

Most people in my opinion don't fall in love with someone online. I believe good friendships can be started which may or may not turn in to something more, and you can learn a lot about each other online before you even decide to meet up which is only a good thing. Providing you guard against forming any feelings and high expectations, by reserving your judgements until after you both have met each other and maybe had a few dates. |

New here,, what are the odds of falling in love with someone online?? Believe me it can happen but everything has to fall into place, the right place for it to work out. Each heart has to feel that special magic and when it does then there is no greater feeling. |
