Fillowing on from a wee discussion In The what you are wearing thread between myself .. crystal .. cat and atw ... about wearing bras .. to those who sleep in bras .. this is what research has to say ..

http://www.iflscience.com/health-and-medicine/no-bra-day-special-are-bras-bad-you/

do we really need bras ??

Where in heavens did the idea that Breasts should always point to the sky come from .. men what are your thoughts ?

i am really lucky my breasts are a c cup .. I feel comfortable with or without a bra ., I have never breastfed and I do light weights to shape and contour my body including bench press on a variety of angles . Gravity is only a problem if you do not look after your body  waving or breed like a :rabbit: biggrin

Hi Blondey. I'm not sure what this topic is about. Breasts and bra size? I'm free and don't care that anyone knows I'm barely 32a. I'm being me.

How your lymphatic system works and breast health ...

http://breastresearchawareness.com/breast-health/the-lymph-system/

....Exercise and Movement The Lymph System has no pump, but relies on the effect of gravity through movement, and smooth muscle contraction for it to flow. Walking, stretching, deep breathing, and gentle bouncing are simple ways to keep your lymph moving. One couple sets a timer and does the “health bounce” – just 10-20 bounces each hour during the day..............,another reason men are useful smitten smitten

Some great tips on improving your lymphatic system in this article .

Ive been told wearing a bra makes your breasts sag prematurely, because if they are being supported, the muscles that develop naturally dont bother to do so.

So all those gals who were taught that they should wear a bra at all times to protect their breast quality got poor advice.

Gals who went without, maintain resilience longer.
hello klc .. it does make me wonder given what we now know about breast health why bras remain popular in western society .

hi cat .. not really about breast size more about breast health and why women wear bras when a lot of research does not support their use .

I dunno if its true of not, but I hear its too late for gals who have been wearing bras all their lives. The damage is done, the end. As for the rest, good question. Social norm?
yes.. seems it is associated with a right of passage into womanhood .....hopefully modern day parents question and research before giving their teens advice .. reminds me of the trend for cigarette smoking .. it used to be so acceptable but that is gradually changing .

So what is good? Wear a bra or not? I find it hard to find one to fit me. I like to sleep with nothing.

is is something you need to decide for yourself . I have posted some links above and will post some medical papers later. Women have always assumed wearing a bra was good for breast health but there is a lot of contradictory research about that .

The U.S., is an extremely litigious society.

Therefore, a warning should be posted,
to remind people to take the bra off,
BEFORE setting fire to it.

Humm well if you have more then a handful as you get older they tend to look south paint eyes on those puppies and they would be looking down hahahaha....

Honestly as soon as I hit my front door that bra comes off.. and pj's come on..

Anyone that is lucky enough to be able to go with out one I'm jealous.. But believe me some people you don't want to see without a bra on.. noway laugh laugh

If I go anywhere I have one on..if at home the puppies are happy and so am I~~bigsmile

I’ve never worn an underwire. I’ve always felt underwires and constictive support bras were the downside for those with enough...um, let’s say...need for them.

Personally, I’ve always had the same contempt for bras as I do for shoes and only wear a spandex cami or sports bra in public to protect against makeing a public statment about how chilly a room may be. laugh
