Topic: do you believe in long distance relationship?

My ex lived 155km from me, almost 2 hrs drive. To me that's the limit. It isn't viable long term, at some point you have to get closer together or move in together.

I agree with Crystal, it wouldn't work well, imo, if it were long term. Least not for me. I'm open to a long distant relationship but the distance would have to disappear within a reasonable time.

I was wondering if I should write this on here, or should I start a new topic. I don't believe in long distance dating/relationship, if you never meet. It's not really dating. Sorry if this is inappropriate.

it works if you want it to work it's can be sometimes lonely but when you meet up with her after long period it can be so good

Maybe it just comes down to meeting the right person, if you feel that you have then give it a chance, it could just work despite the odds.

Yes nothing wrong with a long distance relationship however I would work towards shortening that gap quickly so I could be with the one I Love ...in love sacrifices must be made ...I think it’s foolish to think the man of your dreams is within 2miles vicinity of you...

LDR are not easy at all when there is a lot of traveling one must do in order to see each other. And if it becomes more then one will have to move sooner or later.. Myself done tried it for a year at one time and I've learned it is not for me

I think they can work. Actually know a couple who met online.,.. talked video chat.... even video dates for a year and a half. They met and have been happily married for over 16 years now. They live in Minnesota.
