I have been a baseball fan since being a kid. The Kansas City A's, then the Royals.

I follow the Yankees, have been to quite a few games in old stadium and new stadium.

Since living in Houston, I do cheer for the Astros, unless they are playing the Royals or Yankees.

winking

Going to Astros game tomorrow.

My team is seemingly poor, so they buy young and have to let them go when they become good because they can't afford them.

Been to many many games, but not the new field yet.

Go twins!🤩.. also like the white sox:thumbsup:

I use to be a huge fan.

Guys like Billy Martin, of the Oakland A's,
made a game worth going to.

That is false advertising.
The event is really the English-speaking North American Series.

I'm a NY Mets fan. Have been since the early '90s.

Of course, the only MLB game I've ever been to was at Fenway Park. It was Red Sox vs. Mariners....the season prior to Roger Clemens' rookie year, when Jim Rice was still playing.

I've been to several minor league games though. Even saw the Double A All-Star Game. I used to sit behind home plate, where the scouts and families of the players often sit.

The past few years though, I haven't been able to follow baseball closely. I used to listen to games on the radio all the time. Now that I don't have a car, and since WFAN stopped carrying the Mets games, I don't get to keep up as much. Plus I used to work in a pub, so I often got to watch games as soon as I punched out of work. But those days are over now.

I used to play Rotisserie Baseball for years. Almost published a strategy guide for it actually. I used to know all the players in both the Majors and in Triple A and Double A. In fact, I knew about Albert Pujols a year before his rookie season, when most baseball fans hadn't even heard of him. I got him for a steal at the auction, then held onto him for 8 years. He's not the only major leaguer that I "discovered" though. Bobby Abreu, Evan Longoria, John Lackey, Juan Pierre, Jimmy Rollins, and a few others whose names I can't remember right now because I'm tired from work.

Sports games have to be watched live or on tv. I can't understand listening on the radio.

I've been a Yankees fan since 1964. The first game I ever went to Mickey Mantle was still playing centerfield.

I worked in a restaurant/pub as a cook. I couldn't watch many of the early games. Plus one of my close friends lived 45 minutes from me. Plus before I went back to cooking, I was taking night classes.

In a nutshell, it was often easier for me to listen to most games on the radio due to my circumstances.

One of these days, I'd like to subscribe to SNY so I can actually watch more Mets games again.
