A soul mate is someone you love but, also loves you back. When you have
sex it is not just sex, but making love and combining two bodies and
spirits, together as one. Soul mates, with time spent together, love
talking and soon become so close that the one can tell what the other
one is thinking and feeling. Soul mates is a caring thing that goes
beyond just mere phyical things, but is the deepest kind of love there
is. Women and men, both, I believe either have their soul mate or, are
looking for them. This kind of love is not nessarsily the ''butterfly
feeling'' inside, all the time, either...but it is a feeling of a
relationship where you want to spend as much time as possible with the
one you truely love, your real soul mate.

lol@iam comment...that has always been my problem i am. are you tellin
me i'm not the only one that seems to attract the blood sucking
vampires?lol it does answer the question though. they are lookin for a
soulmate but they want them both for themselves. this all explains my
fascination with women dressed up as vampires on halloween. it's some
sick sub conscious draw into an unhealthy relationship lol now i can
tell all those doctors that i don't need them anymore because you helped
me figure it all out. thanks man

Honestly, I think there is more then 1 soul mate out there for
everyone...the problem is we just have to find them. I know that I found
my soul mate in New Zealand. But, we can't have a relationship being
9000 miles apart. The bad thing is that you compare everyone to that one
person...its not fair but it happens. I guess I thought he was perfect
in every single way, the sad part is, in my mind I still wonder if
someday we might end up back together in some strange way.
I was doing fine and not thinking about him and then I heard this song
"Goodbye My Lover"...Lord have mercy, all of those feelings started
coming back. So I don't know if you really ever get over loving
someone!!
But to answer your question...yes all women do want a soul mate and I am
sure that men would want one also :)

The word soul-mate is utter garbage. There is not one special person out there for you. There are many. Just get out there, be yourself and find someone you connect with. If it doesn't work out, don't get depressed and think, "Oh no my soul-mate didn't work out, forever alone I shall be." Instead, move on and look elsewhere. Compromise, grow, learn and eventually you'll find someone that makes you happy. But that happiness isn't some fairy tale just waiting to happen. You need to make it happen.

Surely you didnt mean garbage as in worthless? What would you call another person then who is just so in tune, understanding and accepting of another person to such a very high degree that it cannot be explained? A person that feels and knows your every action before you can even express it? That person is more than a lover, more than a friend and is a once in a lifetime companion. Ok i do get carried away with my hopelessly romantic side slaphead it’s just that someone is meant for someone or just no one at all drinker ill be happy either way with both situationsshades

I like your wording " You need to make it happen."

I think soulmate is one of the those overused words

I don't believe in soulmates , I subscribe to the theory of successful relationships ( at least the ones that last) takes a lot of work, soul mates infers that you will be together no matter what and that isn’t realistic, people tend to take each other for granted when they think they are with their soul mates.
