Drinking, gambling (at least where I come from) and fornication is legal and Republicans are the ones who own the Casinos and Brothels. So you'll have to use the family values argument somewhere else. Most Republicans have abandoned that platform and I never took it. My party is the party of National Security, the party that supports our military, law enforcement Officer and First Responders, we pledge allegiance, show respect to the flag that our fathers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters have fought and died for.

That is what the Republican party is the party of. The party that protects our country, keeps it safe and respects our deep history.

Wait..

The whole Right-to-life thing?
DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act)?
Against gay marriege (Can't tell you how many Republicans I heard yammer on about "one man, one woman")
Ect...

Oh wait...
Jesus said to love one another, care for the stranger in your land, the widow, the orphans....if you have two coats give someone in need one of yours..etc..

I don't see Republicans following what Jesus taught...so, you're right...my bad...

no person is perfect. We are humans we all sin. But I do believe the republicans try to follow his values more that democrats. It's the democrats that killed Lincoln, want no limits on abortions to even be able to abort up to the birthdate. Dems. promote violence, they protect and harbor criminals. The liberals TRY to silence free speech. They will tell you they are fair while their thumb is on the scales. They are the epitomie of hypocrisy . So no republicans don't live life the way Jesus would want. But the democrats seem to relish the idea of living their life totally opposite of what Jesus would want.

Cosby admitting is is evidence.

Then you throw that big word “IF” in there.

Like IF Kavanaugh were a Democrat no accusations would have come out against him.

That is what I just said. IF .. Kavanaugh had been recorded, like Cosby, saying he got so drunk he couldnt remember things, than it would be seen as possible that he COULD have done what Ford said and not remember.

The difference between Kavanaugh and Cosby is that Cosby was given a fair trial in which he was presumed innocent until proven guilty. In contrast, Kavanaugh has been presumed guilty until proven innocent.

Exactly. !!

Librals don't care about that !

As a democrat, I agree that Democrats do very little to support Gods word on many things like Abortion, Marriage, et cetera, YET, they do seem to do much more than others about the GOLDEN RULE, above all else "Love thy neighbor as thyself", that is not encouraged by making so many 'neighbors' automatic enemies like illegal immigrants, or environmentalists, or muslims, or gun regulation supporters, et cetera.

I at least understand though, that many 'moral' issues are not issues that are meant to be legislated but rather CHOSEN by individuals. I dont understand the rhetoric that demonizes so many different demographics in our country and puts them into some very non Christian political war against each other.

So...as someone who was date raped in 1979...and did not report it then (I have explained this in detail in an earlier post)...if *I* saw the guy about to be nominated for something that involved public service.., and he was putting himnself out there as a morally uprtight, upstanding guy...you betcha I'd certainly tell my story..

I wouldn't need money...I wouldn't need anything...I just would be doing what I felt *led* to do...

I am sorry you went through that, but glad you are okay.drinker drinker

Let he/she who is without fault cast the first brick. That goes for All the leftist that tried to destroy Kavanaugh's character. Also goes for All the #me too supporters and those in Congress.

“Just capable of sexual assault.”

This just keeps getting weirder and weirder. I think some people should go get psychiatric evaluations.

That statement is partly true. Assault and rape being very intimate crimes are very often ONLY he said she said with no tangible 'evidence' left behind to present.

The Cosby accusers, for instance, had no EVIDENCE, except that Cosby admitted that he purchased drugs to have sex with women. That means that it is POSSIBLE any or all of the accusers may have been such a woman.

if K had ever been the kind of drunk that could forget what he had done, it would also be possible that he could have done as described and not remember it.

I suggest you read Cosby's sworn transcripts.
He admitted giving women drugs..unknowingly to them AND he was found guilty in a court of law by a jury picked by both the prosecution AND defense attorneys
Doesn't get much mire guilty then that

Hell..even his wife bailed on him
His OWN words did him in
