Have there ever been or will there ever be Mingle events held in different places for members, or are the logistics too complicated?

There are none that I know of. I think there was at one time a meet planned for in the Philippines but like you say, the logistics for that would be a problem. It would be a nice idea to have different ones planned for different parts of the country so there could be a better turnout. I am all for one in the East somewhere.

I think POF or DateHookup or some other site *tried* that...but never came to actually happen.
Anyway..there were never any within 100 miles of me, so..it was irrelevant...

It wouldn't be an Mingle organized event. Anyone can organize an event on their own.
In Texas, one could be held in Austin. Or, one in Houston. I don't see that many from Houston on here. |

Im trying to organize something for the family which made me think about if anything gets organized at this site.
Maybe at a later time, some of the members who are in the same areas of the country can organize something? might be fun, even though I cant do it now, just something that crossed my mind for later. |

Did 1 or 2 when I was on DH. The site sent out a message to everyone in the general vicinity. They did have some rules for organizers but it wasn't bad. One major problem was that very few would actually show up. I would expect the same issue here! A general meet and greet only takes a few minutes to organize, the difficulty is in getting out the message.

There used to be some near houston i think. But j haven't seen any posted in a while. A kik groul i'm in do somd in the dallas area quite often. Basically all you have to is pick a llace and a date and then who ever wants can show.

We used to meet up with a few people on Long Island, but they're all long gone from Mingle.
