Yes and no! I believe second chances can be sweeter so long as you've learned from the mistakes of the first chance and have gained the wisdom necessary to grow and do things differently.

When it comes to relationships, it can be sweeter so long as both people do the same and grow in unity. Otherwise a second chance becomes more bitter than the first chance and will end poorly.

Sometimes it’s second or third chance is sweeter.

You must try not to bring all the hard feelings from past relationships a new one.

If a guy cheated on you, would you give him a second chance if he promised not to cheat again? No! Once a cheater, always a cheater. IMHO of course bigsmile

But if you gave him a second chance and he kept his word (as far as you know), then second chance could be sweeter.. or just sweet.

However, if you gave him a second chance and he cheated again, then second chances could be a killer.. why? because he might accidentally shoot himself while accidentally falling off the stairs after accidently drinking poison. Accidents happen.

happy flowerforyou

I meant to quote JBH

If you'll open your Oxford dictionary, to the word 'obtuse'...
See that picture, next to the word 'obtuse' ?

Yeah, that's me. laugh

Once burnt, is twice wairy.

Or, once was enough. I didn't lose much in my divorce. I highly doubt I'd be so lucky the second time around, so why tempt fate?

No.
To me that's like asking "is a christmas present just as wonderful as the first time you open it if you just rewrap it and open it again?"
