Why are members contacted so much by members from out of their range, from other states? Meeting them, much less having a relationship with them, is impossible unless you want a long distance relationship. Why doesn't the Match function allow for limiting such contacts instead of wasting our time?

you can set filters to reduce the number of messages to you from those outside the limits you specify and also outside the age range

In addition to the match function, use the search feature of Mingle to identify potential members who meet your criteria...you can then send messages...hopefully you will get a response; however, just remember no reply is a reply...

Did a quick search (50 to 70 yr range with your area zip code)...a lot of member listings appeared...many having been on within this week...
