When you click on a person's name and you get a pop-up saying, "This person's account has been deactivated," did they do it to themselves or did Mingle delete them?

they only way i have seen to tell is if you were mailing each other. if all their messages are gone and only yours are there, then admin did it. and even that is not 100%

We were mailing each other and both his and my messages are still there. So that means he deactivated his own account?

probably but admin good have done it too. as i said the other way is not 100% for sure. sometimes admin doesn't make everything go away

Do you know why or is a list of reasons posted about why an account would be deactivated? Or is there a way to send a question to admin?

no list and admin won't say. but the only main reason admin would do it is because they were some form of scammer. and if that is so, be glad they are gone.

Look hun, if you were mailing each other and he suddenly deactivated, it's prolly one of two reasons; 1. Admin kicked him off for scamming, 2. His wife found out what he was doing in his spare time. Either way you dodged a bullet and should consider yourself lucky..

Wait a minute, motown.. there could be a third reason... StarLover, it could be that he already found someone and had professed his love and had proposed marriage and is now engaged .. sorry it wasn't you. I hope you had not given him any personal information because in all probability he was a scumbag in disguise. Please keep in mind the old saying that if it seems too good to be true, it is. Be careful out there. All the best.

Accounts are deactivated either by the member which some will deactivate each time they leave in order not to receive notices or e-mails till they decide to come back.. Or they are Deactivated by Admin... which we do not tell other members who did the Deactivation.. Normally if all e-mails disappear it is due to the content that was being sent... this can happen even if Admin did not Deactivate them, at times this happens with a warning to the member that sent them of why their e-mails were deleted. But normally unless the content is bad the e-mails are not deleted even when a member is Deactivated by Admin. It is not a proven fact they were up to something shady if they are Deactivated... All one can do is wait to see if they e-mail them again once they re-activate their account.. That is if Admin did not Ban them for one reason or another.
