i wouldn't trust explorer 7, till they get all the bugs fixed you can always take it out an go back to the orignal explorer an just try again some other day.

same thing happened to me, seems as though an update cuases ie7 to stop functioning. if you uninstall and reinstall and don't do any updates it will work agian, but personally i just switched to firefox. works just like ie7, looks pretty close but alot more stable.

you might be able to uninstall the update and have it work but i don't remember which one it was.

I need more details. What do you mean you can't get anything through your browser? What is the error message?

How do you connect to the internet? DSL, Cable, Dial-Up? Do you have a router? Have you tried clicking on the Network connection and selecting "Repair"?

With my LinkSys, I sometimes have to go to the LinkSys settings and click "Save" (I don't have to make any changes). Not sure why, but the internet won't work until I do that. It's something my kids are doing, but I'm not sure what.

If you cannot get IE to work, use Windows Explorer. In the address line, type in the url and it either try to find the website itself or use the last known functioning version of IE.
Then, get Firefox! :)
