Perhaps? I will rouse around Google, see if anyone else has seen similar or the same. Lol, I will probably end up in the dark net, talking to aliens 🤣

During World War 2, military pilots reported seeing
"balls of light" in the sky. The military pilots referred
to the balls of light, as "Foo Fighters".

Could be UFO related.

See books by Bruce Leonard Cathie (11 February 1930 – 2 June 2013) was a New Zealand airline pilot who wrote seven books related to flying saucers and a "World energy grid"..

Harmonics and mathematics was his thing.

He found aerials all around NZ and out to sea, in a pattern.
Possibly used to power UFO's.

One science fiction explanation,
via the television series 'Far Scape'
episode name: My Three Crichtons

The glowing sphere is a research vessel
from another dimension... Sent, to collect
and study life forms.

It was not glowing. It was like a mirror/glass/window. It was in the sky for about two minutes, twinkled/sparkles and rapidly disappeared..

Was there a thunderstorm in the area? Did you ever think of "ball-lightning", rare but it happens.
