Well, if you leave your socks on the floor they'll pick them up and bring them to you. Also if you drop any food on the kitchen floor they'll clean it up for you.

Thx. Your topic reminded me of the black dog I had several years ago. When I was off work I put him in the basket of my scooter and went to the park together and I really enjoyed his company. I took pics of him on the meadow in the sun.

Having dogs are probably the only purpose outside of work that I focus on lately. They depend on me, so I keep making myself get up, get dressed, and get going.

Not as totally sad as it sounds, but each day gets a bit better and easier.. and then they're always happy to see me come back home.

They never judge me on my bad days, and they are my best pals.

I can tell them ANYTHING.. and they are not going to tell me I should be doing this or that instead.

There are dogs for every type of person.. outside, inside, hyper allergenic..

My 3 puppies all were abandonment-rescues, all found at various time on my property. Nox was maybe only 6 weeks old when she arrived. She showed up 1 day before the Branson Leap-Year tornadoes hit. Berrie was so starved it was questionable if she would survive and King Caesar was so covered in ticks that he was anemic and took 3 baths to get him cleaned.

In return, they have helped to keep my sanity since the wife passed in January. If it weren't because of them, I doubt I would still be around. Their unconditional love is exactly what a situation like that needs.

If you don't believe in Karma, THIS situation is a prime example why you should.

If not for having to take them for a walk early while it is cool, I would probably sleep half the day
