why there are still taboos for interracial dating? Or people just jealous when they see me with an ebony or black woman? As for me, they are the most beautiful...

Men are attracted to whom they choose to , just like women choose who they are attracted to!
Interracial dating and relationships has been around for Years . I have dated different nationalities ! Some Very nice!!  Why would anyone be jealous of you !! I don't know !! |

Could be a political issue. Many countries in Europe are having issues with refugees/immigrants who are people of color. They begin to see all people as part of that problem if they are not white.
Could be cultural. While many European cities are fine with tourists of all colors vacationing in their neighborhood (which brings $$), the people of the country themselves are homogeneous and don't welcome inter-marriage and reproduction with people outside of the country's main ethnic group. |

Are you serious that there are societal taboos about interracial couples? Not my world. IMO we have another generation or two before the majority of humans are mixed race. Ethnicity is nowhere in my criteria for a suitable partner.

I'm a proud product of an interracial couple/marriage and so it's not a bad thing at all plus we're all mixed with something anyways so it doesnt really matter who you date as long as you love them for who they are and how they make you feel nothing else matters because nothing can stop unconditional love

People have their beliefs about what constitutes 'their own' and their beliefs about keeping 'their own' bloodlines strong. They want to marry within their culture, or their religion, or their race, they want to carry on their race with their children.
If people do not put their hands on you or speak out of turn to you and yours, I would not even give it a second thought, especially if you are happy in your own choice of partner. Everyone does not have to like or agree with it. All any one should be expected to do is respect that it is your choice. |

There are still taboos because cultures have taught their younger generations that there are differences based on race. Fortunately, it's these cultural taboos that are slowly being erased.
When you grow up in a culture/family that mistreats women/girls, that's what you learn. When you are raised in a culture/family that expresses understanding across racial lines, that is what you learn. "Teach your children well". Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. |

I've grown up around pretty much every race so color was never an issue in my book. I think people are more worried about what their family or friends will think of them rather than just being with who they want to be with. Its your life so live it!!

This is right from the CDC website and the most recent figures (2017): Chlamydia - Negro women are 5 X more likely to have it than whites Negro men are 6.6 X more likely Gonorrhea - Negro women are 7.6 X more likely to have it than whites Negro men are 8.9 X more likely than whites Syphilis - Negro women are 5.2 X more likely than whites to have it than whites Negro men are 4.5 X more likely than white men Of course these figures are for the US and I have no idea what they'd be in ahh England for example. But why is this? |
