Being on the internet, talk is cheap, and you usually don't get to see actions.

But in real life, only actions according to the words, counts.

If you are not true to your word, you are a potential liability.

Eg. politicians, and other con artists.

I've also learned to watch for INACTIONS as well.

Lots of people say nice things, but do nothing to support their claimed positive ideals.

"I am woman, hear me roar, I'm in charge, get over it".

"I'm a man, but I can change, If I have to, I guess".
~ Possum Lodge

Being a man I am not quick to share my emotions.
I say "I Love You" strongest in deed.
I also understand that women quickly share their emotions so when she says "I Love You" I believe her.

In this world there are forces beyond my control.
When I say I am going to do something I make every effort to keep my word.
When forces are against me, I make sure the affected parties are notified of my delay or situation.
I also never commit to anything in the future as a done deal until it is a done deal.
I don't say
"I am going to trim the hedges today at noon".
What I do say
"I am planning on trimming the hedges today around noon".

If I must commit to something, I do it.
"Lets meet at the cannons on the beach at 4 pm today"
I make sure I am there by 3:30 pm.
Even if I have to bum a ride to do it.
Holding my word is very important to me.

If it ever comes to a choice between someone's words and what they do (or don't do), their actions are a much better guide to who and what they are.
