Thinking I'm going to be SO glad when my new PC speakers arrive tomorrow! The current ones are from my first or second PC, so they got to be some 20 years old! I think there's a near-break in one of the cables and the on/off switch is very close to dying. So sound drops out all the time, and I have temporarily fixed it with ducttape over it, hihi.
Even that can't hold it in, so every 5 mins or so I have to push it down again. Tomorrow I have new speakers!! |

thinking why on the god's green earth did you wait so long???? Because I'm frugal? Hihi. A while back I was about to buy new ones, don't recall why I didn't in the end. You know, it's also being so used to making do with stuff... You do get used to that, unfortunately. I also bought a new deskchair. The current one is some 10-12 years old, great quality, but of late it was starting to cloink and whatnot, I was seriously afraid that something would break with me in it. And now I have the money in... first thing I did that day was order a new chair, exact same one. Best friggin' chair I've ever had. Ikea... Danged good quality chair. Now the last thing I want to get is my car. My girl said she could really see me drive in that red Suzuki Swift. With a bit of luck I'm going to get a red car after all, which is what I really really wanted! |
