Topic: Decoding a Torrent | |
---|---|
I just downloaded a movie. And it said that it needed a Xvid to decode it. before it would play the movie. So I got the the Xvid and now it is playing no problem, but there is no sound. What am I missing? This is the first time I haver decoded something. Never really bothered with it before. If it needed to be decoded I would just delete it and find one that did not need to be decoded. Any idea how to get my sound?

you might try downloading another small xvid file just to make sure it's not just a bad movie rip, i've had all kinds of them that had no sound just because the guy who ripped it didn;t know what he was doing.

OK, I have tried that ac3 thing and it said it prefured XP, I am using Vista on my laptop. And all though it said it was Microsoft certified it still did not like Vista. Had no idea what it was. So I tried to network my two computers together because the OS on my desktop is XP. So I thought I would just transfer the file over as I do not have a big enough flash drive to do it any other way. But in order fpr me to network the two computers together I had to have the same OS on both computers (first time doing this). But I will try Nimo and hope that works.
Have I mentioned I HATE Vista! Starting to hate Microsoft all together! OK, complaing stops here!...lol. |
