Antifa is a bunch of pollution, doctor's, lawyer's, executives and other families' kids who have money. Well, that's the core group of them along with whomever they picked up along the way. So, Trump isn't going to do much of anything except use this tret as a scare tactic. I'll believe it when they round up all these pinkos. And even if somehow he does no rich kid or son/daughter of a judge or what have you will go to jail.

Trump Says Antifa to Be Designated a Terrorist Organization

Attorney General Barr says federal law enforcement will be used to apprehend and charge ‘violent radical agitators’

BOWEN XIAO

President Donald Trump said his administration would be designating Antifa as a terrorist organization, after nearly a week of widespread looting and riots following the death of an unarmed black man while in police custody in Minneapolis.

Before making the announcement, Trump commended the National Guard for shutting down the chaos in Minneapolis that he said was steered by “ANTIFA led anarchists, among others.”

What started as peaceful protests over the death of George Floyd, who said multiple times he couldn’t breathe and became non-responsive while a police officer knelt on his neck, has turned into violent chaos, which federal officials say was spurred by outside agitators and radicals.

Trump said the majority of people rioting over the past few days in Minneapolis were from out of state and that they were “harming businesses (especially African American small businesses).” Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has pointed to estimations that show 80 percent of the rioters on May 29 came from outside Minnesota, with the remaining 20 percent being actual Minnesotans.

Attorney General William Barr echoed the president in a statement soon after the move was declared. Barr called the violence carried out by Antifa in connection with the rioting “domestic terrorism” and noted that it would be “treated accordingly.”

“It is time to stop watching the violence and to confront and stop it,” Barr said. “The continued violence and destruction of property

endangers the lives and livelihoods of others, and interferes with the rights of peaceful protestors as well as all other citizens.”

Federal law enforcement will be used to apprehend and charge “violent radical agitators,” the attorney general said. It isn’t known how many Antifa members were taking part in the protests across the United States.

In an earlier statement on May 30, Barr said that the violence within the protests

If Antifa is calling for violence and are promoting violence, then they deserve the terrorist designation that President Trump has given them. Richard Mack, founder, Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association

appears to have been “planned, organized, and driven” by groups of outside radicals and agitators.

Dozens of cities across the country braced for another night of unrest on May 31, as newly added curfews in some areas still failed to quell confrontations between protesters and police.

In recent days, violence has rocked Atlanta, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Denver, Cincinnati, and New York, as well as Portland, Oregon, and Louisville, Kentucky, among others. Richard Mack, a former sheriff in Arizona and founder of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), said he agreed with the president’s designation, calling it a “move in the right direction.”

“If Antifa is calling for violence and are promoting violence, then they deserve the terrorist designation that President Trump has given them,” Mack told The Epoch Times.

“Martin Luther King Jr. said, ‘Hate cannot drive out hate’ and ‘Violence multiplies violence.’ We agree with Martin Luther King, and as the CSPOA,

we call for peace,” he said.

“If the American people reject all violence, then our national security will benefit even more,” Mack added. “Liberty is still the answer, and peace is still the solution.”

The firing and arrest of Derek Chauvin, the police officer filmed kneeling on Floyd’s neck, on charges of third- degree murder and manslaughter has failed to satisfy protesters. Three officers who stood by during the incident have yet to be charged.

Trump has warned that crossing state lines to incite violence is a federal crime, and previously called for governors and mayors to get “tougher” on the riots.

It’s also not the first time Trump has talked about designating Antifa as a terrorist group. In July last year, Trump said his administration was considering whether to declare the group “a major organization of terror.”

At the time, Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) proposed a resolution in the Senate to condemn the acts of violence carried out by members of Antifa and to label the group as a domestic terrorist organization.

The senators proposed the resolution following Antifa members’ assault on independent journalist Andy Ngo, who is known for extensively documenting Antifa violence. He was punched in the face, kicked, and had cups of a white substance thrown at him while he was covering one of the group’s protests in Portland, Oregon.

Portland police later said the cups contained quick-drying cement mixed into milkshakes.

Ngo, in a Twitter response to Trump’s latest announcement, said, “Federal investigative authorities must dismantle the networks & hundreds of antifa cells across the US who radicalize, train & carry out organized

extremist violence.”

“They also have international links to affinity cells in Western Europe,” Ngo added. “It is domestic & international terrorism.”

Meanwhile, in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, national security adviser Robert O’Brien accused the group of using organized and violent tactics, asking what the FBI has been doing about it.

“The president and the Attorney General want to know from FBI Director Wray what the FBI has been doing to track and dismantle, and surveil, and prosecute Antifa,” O’Brien said on May 31.

“And if that hasn’t been happening, we want to know what the plan is going forward,” he said. “These Antifa militant radicals who come in to our cities and cross state lines, they are organized and use Molotov cocktails and fireworks and gas to burn down our cities.” Epoch Times reporter Janita Kan, and Reuters contributed to this report.

funny you never mentioned the Proud Boys and the Boogaloo Boys who were clearly involved in the destruction everywhere.
Also, you never mentioned that most of the vandals had masks over white faces.....

Could you be a little biaised toward Trump and his bunker?

Facebook shuts down far-right group planning to bring weapons to protests

By Donie O'Sullivan, CNN

Updated 11:14 PM ET, Tue June 2, 2020

Facebook said Tuesday that it had shut down pages and accounts associated with what it said was a hate group, whose members were discussing bringing weapons to the protests that are happening across the country. The company said it had observed people associated with the group American Guard discussing such action. The group says it is about American constitutional nationalism, but the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) says American Guard "has a background with connections to anti-immigrant extremism, hatred, and violence. Indeed, before the American Guard was the American Guard, it was actually the Indiana chapter of a group called the Soldiers of Odin USA, a branch of an extreme anti-immigrant and anti-refugee group. (originated in Finland in 2015 and has spread to many other countries)."

Facebook said it had also taken down accounts linked to the far-right group Proud Boys, though it said it had not seen posts from that group discussing weaponry.

The company said it had been planning on taking action against both groups, but had expedited the process when they saw how the groups were discussing the protests.

Staff who work as part of the company's teams combating dangerous and inauthentic organizations that operate on the platform spoke to CNN on Tuesday.
The staff said the company would take action on people using the platform to organize violence regardless of their political affiliation.

The account caught the attention of President Donald Trump's son Donald Trump Jr. "Absolutely insane," Trump Jr. wrote on Instagram, sharing a screenshot of the tweet, "Just remember what ANTIFA really is. A Terrorist Organization! They're not even pretending anymore."

A spokesperson for Donald Trump Jr. did not provide comment to CNN Tuesday morning, but later the post was removed from Trump Jr.'s Instagram feed. There is no indication whatsoever that Trump Jr. knew who was behind the account or that it was fake.

Facebook said Tuesday night it had found some associated accounts on its platforms after Twitter shared information about the fake account — the accounts have been removed from Facebook, the staff said. The accounts had not been used recently, the staff added.

Facebook has come under intense criticism this week for leaving President Donald Trump's posts on Facebook and Instagram that were labeled on Twitter as glorifying violence.

It is not a precise science how much information is relevant and to the point and how much information is TOO much, confusing issues that can be simplified. We do this in our normal speech as humans. We do not go around talking all day long about everything we know or everything that has happened in painstaking detail, I do not expect media outlets to do so either. It is really subjective, imho. Some call it 'withholding' and maybe sometimes that is true. I think it is often true though that sponsors pay the bills (except NPR) and pay according to the belief that certain demographics will be viewers. So it makes sense for viewing, where opinions are concerned, will skew toward the types of demographics that sponsors are aiming for. The rest is a matter of simply listening to what is said and knowing the difference between commentary and facts, to collect details, look for fill in information that may be needed (sources on internet are vast and varied), and then form our own conclusions from the FACTS that we can siphon.

Mattis tears into Trump: 'We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership'

By Barbara Starr and Paul LeBlanc, CNN

Updated 6:52 PM ET, Wed June 3, 2020

Former Secretary of Defense James Mattis castigated President Donald Trump as "the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people" in a forceful rebuke of his former boss as nationwide protests have intensified over the death of George Floyd.

"Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people—does not even pretend to try. Instead he tries to divide us," Mattis said.

"We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership. We can unite without him, drawing on the strengths inherent in our civil society. This will not be easy, as the past few days have shown, but we owe it to our fellow citizens; to past generations that bled to defend our promise; and to our children."

His pointed remarks follow more than a week of nationwide protests across the country calling for justice for Floyd, a black man who was killed last week by a white police officer in Minneapolis. In response, Trump earlier this week declared himself "your president of law and order" and vowed to return order to American streets using the military if widespread violence isn't quelled.

The comments from Mattis are a significant moment for a man who has kept mostly silent since leaving the administration. The retired Marine general had been pressed many times to comment on Trump, troop policies, the Pentagon, and other current events and had always refused because he didn't want to get involved and be a contradictory voice to the troops. Instead, Mattis always insisted he had said everything he wanted to say in his resignation letter.
And until a few days ago he had privately held to that view, but Mattis has become so distressed by the events of the last week that his views on speaking out changed.

The remarks will be a significant moment for many service members who idolize the former defense secretary, who -- despite a career based on loyalty and respect for the military chain-of-command -- is sending troops the message that the country can unite without the President's lead.

The message comes after days of increased military presence in Washington. National Guardsmen and federal law enforcement have been stationed around the nation's capital in a show of force not seen in recent memory. Federal law enforcement officers violently broke up peaceful protests in front of the White House on Monday, apparently so Trump could stage a photo-op at a church across the street from Lafayette Square, where protesters had gathered.
The former secretary, who resigned from Trump's Cabinet, also indirectly criticized current Defense Secretary Mark Esper's use of the word "battlespace" in reference to American cities.

"We must reject any thinking of our cities as a 'battlespace' that our uniformed military is called upon to 'dominate,' " Mattis said. "At home, we should use our military only when requested to do so, on very rare occasions, by state governors. Militarizing our response, as we witnessed in Washington, D.C., sets up a conflict—a false conflict—between the military and civilian society."

"It erodes the moral ground that ensures a trusted bond between men and women in uniform and the society they are sworn to protect, and of which they themselves are a part. Keeping public order rests with civilian state and local leaders who best understand their communities and are answerable to them."
Esper on Wednesday acknowledged his use of the word "battlespace" was not meant to indicate any conflict with Americans, but claimed he used a military term of art. Esper also specifically rejected the use of active duty forces in a law enforcement role at this time.

But Mattis directed most of ire at Trump saying "Never did I dream that troops taking that same oath would be ordered under any circumstance to violate the Constitutional rights of their fellow citizens—much less to provide a bizarre photo op for the elected commander-in-chief, with military leadership standing alongside."

This is a breaking story and will be updated.

Antifa, Other Far-Left Groups Exploit Protests for ‘Revolution’

Subversion of demonstrations stem from organized, wellfunded coordinated effort by socialist and communist groups

BOWEN XIAO

Communist groups—including the extremist organization Antifa— are hijacking what started out as peaceful protests over the death of an unarmed black man to usher in a revolution, according to officials, experts, videos, and anarchists’ own words.

That charge comes amid an unprecedented and coordinated effort behind the riots, the likes of which have never been seen before and which span across multiple states and involve often violent street-level tactics.

Officials from both sides say that outside groups have exploited the recent momentum to further their own agenda. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a Democrat, noted that “bad actors continue to infiltrate the rightful protests” and that 80 percent of the rioters have come from outside the state. Federal officials including President Donald Trump have pointed to Antifa.

Bernard B. Kerik, former police commissioner of the New York City Police Department, said Antifa “100 percent exploited these protests,” noting that their various websites control and dictate where protests start.

“It’s in 40 different states and 60 cities; it would be impossible for somebody outside of

Antifa to fund this,” he told The Epoch Times. “It’s a radical, leftist, socialist attempt at revolution.”

Operations including coordination, equipment, and travel costs would likely cost “tens of millions of dollars,” Kerik said. A friend of his, an FBI agent, told him she was at Newark airport on May 29 where she observed “probably 25 of these Antifa kids walking in through the airport.”

“They’re coming from other cities,” he said. “That cost money. They didn’t do this on their own. Somebody’s paying for this.”

“What Antifa is doing is they’re basically hijacking the black community as their army,” Kerik said. “They instigate, they antagonize, they get these young black men and women

It’s in 40 different states and 60 cities, it would be impossible for somebody outside of Antifa to fund this.

to go out there and do stupid things, and then they disappear off into the sunset.”

Photos later pulled offline appeared to show protesters with military-grade communications radios and earpieces, Kerik said, noting: “They have to be talking to somebody at a central command center with a repeater. Where do those radios go to?”

Andy Ngo, a journalist who has covered Antifa extensively, said the group is organized in “multiple units” with scouts that monitor the perimeter of an area, providing live audio or text updates. Others carry out violent missions with weapons and firebombs.

The extremist group is “horizontally” organized; it doesn’t have a public leader, since it’s part of their ideology that there should be no authority, Ngo said.

According to John Miller, the NYPD’s deputy commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism, these outside radical groups have organized scouts, medics, and even supply routes of rocks, bottles, and accelerants “for breakaway groups to commit vandalism and violence.” These groups have planned for violence in advance, using encrypted communications, he said.

Mike Griffin, a longtime political activist from Minneapolis, told The New York Times there were people he never witnessed before demonstrating, including “well-dressed young white men in expensive boots carrying hammers and talking about torching buildings.”

“I know protests, I’ve been doing it for 20 years,” he said. “People not affiliated with the protests are creating havoc on the streets.”

Communism expert Trevor Loudon, meanwhile, told The Epoch Times that Antifa is only one part of the picture, noting that “every significant communist or socialist party in the United States has been involved in these protests and riots from the beginning.”

According to Loudon, “Communist Party USA, Liberation Road, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, Democratic Socialists of America, Revolutionary Communist Party, Workers World Party, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation” have been involved, among others.

Hijacking Peace

One protester who came upon a large pile of bricks while filming live called it a “setup,” as a man by his side quipped, “Ain’t no damn construction around here.”

Police departments in several states in recent days have warned of materials being purposely planted in certain locations so as to fuel rioting.

The Kansas City police department in Missouri stated on Twitter that it “learned of & discovered stashes of bricks and rocks” in some areas “to be used during a riot,” and asked people

to report such cases to authorities to be removed.

Days later, the Minneapolis Police department warned of “incendiary materials and accelerants” such as water bottles filled with gasoline found hidden in bushes and neighborhoods.

Bricks and similar objects have appeared in Manhattan, Baltimore, North Carolina, and more. Protesters outside the White House were caught throwing bricks. There have also been false alarms, as the Frisco Police Department in Texas found that one pile was from a legitimate construction project.

People need to understand that there are hundreds of foreign-trained agitators and organizers operating in this country, and tens of thousands more disciplined communists. Trevor Loudon, communism expert

Some videos, meanwhile, show African Americans objecting to bricks being handed to their peers.

Loudon, who is also a contributor to The Epoch Times, said the bricks and other examples were part of a “terrorist military operation” and that the whole thing had been “completely organized and long preplanned.”

“If the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis hadn’t sparked these riots, the next one would have,” he said. “People need to understand that there are hundreds of foreign-trained agitators and organizers operating in this country, and tens of thousands more disciplined communists.”

Numerous social media posts and videos also depict African American protesters objecting to rioting perpetrated by groups of white men clad in full black outfits—the black costume has long been associated with Antifa.

In Oakland, a group of Caucasians dressed in full black gear and armed with hammers started destroying and breaking into a building as African Americans nearby voiced their opposition.

One video appears to show a predominantly white crowd of people destroying a Minneapolis Police Department building, some also dressed in full black gear. Another video purportedly in Baltimore shows African American protesters begging white people, also clad in black, to stop rioting.

Peaceful protesters in Washington, meanwhile, tackled an “Antifa rioter” who was hammering the pavement to get blocks of concrete to throw. Protesters then handed over the rioter to the police.

At a May 30 press conference, Attorney General William Barr said the violence appears to be “planned, organized, and driven by far-left extremist groups and anarchic groups using Antifa-like tactics.”

In a twitter thread, Ngo said the destruction of businesses isn’t only opportunism but is tied to Antifa and Black Lives Matter (BLM) ideology to “abolish capitalism & have regime change. To do that, they have to make economic recovery

impossible.”

“Militant antifa cells across the country mobilized to aid BLM rioters,” Ngo said. “Every part of the rioting has a purpose. Fires destroy economy. Riots can overwhelm police & even military. All of it leads to a destabilized state if maintained.”

Communism Core

Gabriel Nadales, a former Antifa member, told Jan Jekielek, host of The Epoch Times’ “American Thought Leaders” series, that to really be a part of Antifa is to do two things: “One is to share their violent ideology and be willing to fight for them at any turn, and the second is to actually do it. It’s not just about having anti-conservative beliefs,” he said.

Communist groups have played a role in the recent protests. On May 27, the Democratic Socialists of America’s (DSA) Twin Cities chapter issued a call for supplies for “comrades protesting at the 3rd precinct (at Lake and Minnehaha).” An AutoZone store was set ablaze in the same area, amid widespread looting.

Such groups also appear to have played a role in funding. On May 28, DSA’s Twin Cities chapter asked on Twitter to “Please also give to the TCDSA solidarity fund, because people will need help in the days and weeks ahead!” DSA chapters in Seattle, Memphis, Los Angeles, and Metro Atlanta have called for donations amid the protests.

The DSA also formed a national antifascist work group at the convention in 2019.

Other communist groups, such as the Workers World Party, have backed the protests, while some groups, such as the Revolutionary Communist Party, called for an “actual revolution.”

Liberation News, a newspaper of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, wrote in a staff statement on May 26 that it’s a “critical period” to “sharpen our resolve to build organizations capable of waging militant class struggle.”

Ivan Pentchoukov contributed to this report.

The Progressive Strategy Behind the Demonstrations

BRUCE ABRAMSON

The demonstrations that have broken out around the country are part of a strategic plan to transform the United States into a progressive utopia. The riots into which they quickly devolved are not. It’s important to understand the difference between them.

The strategy itself is hardly a secret. It appears, for example, in Paul Engler’s “Resistance Guide,” published shortly after Donald Trump became president.

Engler is the rare and dangerous combination of a theorist and an activist. In 2014, he launched a “movement incubator” called Momentum. Within five years, he’d incubated groups promoting climate change, pushing for open borders, and spreading anti-Israel activism.

As a theorist, Engler has brought forward the work of two significant predecessors: Saul Alinsky and Gene Sharp.

Alinsky, the premiere labor organizer of the mid-20th century, is best known for his “Rules for Radicals.” Engler has applied lessons learned from open source development, networked organizations, and social media campaigning to bring Alinsky’s tactics into the 21st century.

Sharp, a scholar of nonviolent uprisings, proved even more influential.

Sharp distilled and cataloged the lessons of history. He drew a distinction between ideological and tactical nonviolence— and showed that the nonviolence driving Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. was tactical. In Sharp’s view, had either of these leaders possessed superior weapons or commanded superior armies, they would have fought more conventionally.

Because those assets belonged to their opponents, they drew instead upon the assets they did command: a large following and moral suasion.

Engler brought Sharp’s nonviolent disruption tactics to play in today’s America, where progressive assets include academia, the media, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, and the civil service. That gives them a significant edge in shaping what people hear and believe.

George Floyd’s death provided the excuse to roll out a long-planned campaign of nonviolent resistance. The events on May 29 outside the White House provide the clearest demonstration

of the strategy in action. Protestors holding their hands in the air moved forward slowly to break through Secret Service barriers.

Their goal was to create an untenable choice. If large numbers of unarmed civilians march on the White House, the president could either let them through and appear weak or employ force and appear brutal. To its great credit, the Secret Service was able to defuse the situation— this time. In the long run, however, the tactic is devastating.

In this round of protests—unlike those during the Obama years—Black Lives Matter (BLM) not only insists upon its own nonviolence, but seems genuinely distressed at Antifa wreaking havoc on innocent citizens and businesses.

The distress is real, but it has little to do with the minority-owned businesses set aflame. BLM set out to win and hold the sympathy of enough swing voters to cost Trump the election. Their hope was to unveil a campaign of nonviolent resistance tied to the moral cause of preventing further deaths like Floyd’s. Antifa’s violent overlays undermine their entire game.

The president’s instincts in countering this strategy have been excellent but insufficient. He’s taken Floyd’s cause as his own, vowing and delivering swift highlevel involvement. He could do more. He could, for example, emphasize that even though police brutality is neither pervasive nor common, it remains a problem that a presidential commission would address.

He has also wisely stuck with the proper deference to federalism he has shown during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maintaining law and order, and protecting the life and property of citizens, is a local obligation. Trump has made it clear that federal resources are available—but will be provided only to mayors and governors who request it. Furthermore, Antifa’s anarchic violence creates certain openings by upending Sharp’s playbook. The BLM organizers violated a cardinal rule. They neglected to get signoff from all of their allies. No one bothered to tell Antifa not to use its standard tactics. That’s a fatal flaw. Effective nonviolent tactics really are nearly impossible to defeat without committing atrocities against civilians.

They are, however, quite difficult to implement well. America’s progressives have implemented them poorly.

The president needs sharp and emphatic messaging to accompany his instincts. He needs to come out loudly in favor of communities and victims. He needs to call upon local officials to accelerate their efforts to protect civilians and private property. He needs to emphasize the devastation that these rioters are having on local communities. He needs to announce that the Department of Justice will coordinate claims against identifiable agitators and responsible organizations. He needs to highlight the extent to which celebrities and selected progressive leaders are siding with rioters rather than citizens.

Finally, he needs to remind everyone that we’ve still got social distancing guidelines in place—and recommend that anyone arrested at the riots be put into a 14-day quarantine with full contact tracing. He also needs to remind America that there’s now an experiment underway; if these riots don’t spike COVID- 19 cases, we can relax social distancing guidelines sooner than expected.

All told, two groups of progressives are devouring each other. That gives America an opportunity to defeat strategies and tactics that have brought down regimes around the world. It’s an opportunity Trump must seize if he is indeed to keep America great.

A pro-Bernie Sanders Craigslist ad invites people in Wisconsin to protest against Donald Trump for $15 dollars an hour. (After trump was elected of course)

Beneath an image of a Bernie Sanders T-shirt, the ad, which was posted on Tuesday morning, reads, “Paid positions for protesters at the Trump rally.”

“Shuttle buses, parking, signs, and hourly pay available. $15 an hour due to economic inequality. Meet at 3300 W. Tripp Road, Jainesville, WI 53548 for pre-protest instructions and to get your time card.”

Several admitted answering a Craig’s list ad paying $16.00 an hour for protesters.”

MoveOn, which is funded by billionaire George Soros, also took credit for causing the cancellation of Trump’s rally in Chicago back on March 11 after hundreds of Bernie Sanders supporters infiltrated the event and staged violence which the media later blamed on Donald Trump.

Following the riots in Chicago, left-wing groups vowed to stage mass civil disobedience at Trump rallies across the country beginning in April.

How can anyone like the dems, they are so violent, and quit watching cnn

The demonstrations that have broken out around the country are part of a strategic plan to transform the United States into a progressive utopia. The riots into which they quickly devolved are not. It’s important to understand the difference between them.

sadly its what news network you listen to, I check my email there is yahoo with thier biased opinion every time. nothing is ever mentioned about joe.

people does not have a say anymore, its the big companies that drill you with their stupid opinions, what if.

but since fox ratings way up and leading the news over other networks, cnn is way down and loosing viewers.

trump will win.
