Maybe but it's my thread I've shared this story before but not sure if I have in open forums... But so reminds me of a moment with my dad My birthday is leap year but my dad always sung happy birthday to me... even if he had to call at midnight to hit it on off years when there was no 29th. Dementia stole my dad's mind but a couple of years ago when he was still in and out..... My mom told him it was my birthday, and he came out singing" I wish you a merry Christmas" I could tell by the look in his eyes... he knew that wasn't right but couldn't figure out why God love him. ... he kept right on singing..... the whole thing That's so sweet!! Glad you have fond memories of him.

We had a fantastic time in Woodstock Saturday through Monday. I had my first river kayaking experience and only tipped over the kayak one time on the six mile journey. The train ride was lovely. And the lost river gorge was a lot of fun. Lots of crawling, climbing, and slithering through the caves. I felt like a kid again and I'm already planning the next adventure.

I enjoyed cooking tonight. I enjoyed eating at the Texas Roadhouse last week. I was there 4 times and had 4 12 ounce Filet Mignons. I call it positive eating.

I'm happy to almost always sleep very well and very deep. Just that the night before last it was so hot that it was almost unbearable in the bedroom. Anywho... have you ever tried waxed earplugs? Even if it is quiet, it seems to work like a switch to the brain to go 'off' and sleep. Maybe you've subconsciously trained yourself to be awake for your dad. But you can reprogram that. Wishing you a good day! Me's going to enjoy a nice shower in a minute
