I just got back from the cemetary-this will be the third Christmas without my daddy. It is hard-and I know we all move on but the wounds are still fresh. Please, don't take for granted the ones you have, especially during the holidays. Chrish every moment you have with your family and friends. Thank you to those of you out there that have become my new friends-although we may not know each other well, I cherish you and your kind words. Merry Christmas to everyone. I am terribly sorry for your loss. Time mends a broken heart, but the pain lingers. I lost my Mom long time ago, and recently my Grandma, so I understand your kind words and advice.

I feel your pain as well this is the 4th Christmas without my dad and only had one that I don't remember with my Mom. Both set of grandparents have been gone for many years.

But I still carry them within my heart so actually they are not gone as long as I keep there memories alive.

So ya for all those that still have your parents or grandparents give them a big hug and be proud you still have them to hold

my good friend is spending his first holiday season without his father, who passed away earlier this year due to Lou Gehrig's disease... I've thought about him every day for at least a week now.
