really? was it the red rings? my warranty expired a month ago and they didn't even care they fixed it for free (including shipping)

My son just bought him an xbox 360 in August and then he just bought my other son one in December for his birthday. Heres what I don't understand...why does everyone feel the need to have every gaming system out there? My boys have everything. They won't get rid of the other ones..they just keep getting more..unbelievable!!

I sell all my old ones I only have a wii and 360 now

I bought my 360 from ebay 6 weeks ago, it has no warrenty, i fix it myself when it has problems, i have had the ring of death already, im just glad i know how to work on it.

I dont play it much i only have gears of war but i play it online. I'm hoping to get dead rising soon since i love anything with zombies in it =)

The only other system i have is the ultimate gaming system (PC)

thats right i dont have a tv, i send my xbox and cable into the computer=free TiVo =) its very cheap if you got cable or satellite TV just buy a tv tuner from Tigerdirect.com i got mine for only 15$

Lozer is your problem the red rings? Like someone said earlier the warranty is three years. This is actually my third time in just a year that i've had to have my 360 fixed which is my only problem with the 360 it breaks way too easily(I wasn't even playing it more then a week when it broke!)

You should have gotten the Halo 3 edition of the 360 that is supposed to have a new chip inside from keeping it going on the 3 red lights of death thing so is most of the other newer 360's in stores today.

Rumor also going around that is MS is planning on releasing another 360 with a 320GB harddrive, find out more next week or so.


It's sad though every body that owns a 360 has a problem and any one who owns a PS3 doesn't, and yet every one bash that system cause they hate or dislike Sony.

Well Lozer you can come to my house and play, I have two xbox 360's one for me one for a friend

I live in Ireland and mine was sent to germany to be repaired. All costs were covered by microsoft under my warranty. i have had no trouble since. That was 6 months ago. I was extremely happy with the service they provided.

Whatsupgangsta Have you allowed for sufficient air circulation around it plus i dont trust any console vertically only horizontally same as my ps3. they may look uber-sexy vertically but i dont trust it inside. Gravity and all that so remember on earth horizontally, in space vertically. Hope this helps.

PS If you keep paying $40 everytime it breaks, they may be trying to make a prick out of you. Write them a letter and explain your disgust. That service is provoided free. If they cant fix this problem from occuring all the time i suggst Microsoft get rid of a few pricks in their technical repairs dept.

I have a launch date PS3, still no problems. Rock Band is a great game. !Borrachos! ranked #250 by career points.

I plan on buying a PS3 when I get my income tax return.

Also, if you have cash left over invest in x360 and wii. If funds are low invest all in x360. If funds are really low go and get drunk lol

PS PS3 40gb is not backwards compatible with ps2 back catelouge (sp?).If you opt for 60 gb it will. But hurry there aint many left i even think Sony is not producing them anymore.

Yeah, thanks for the infor. I knew about the 60GB. That's why I am getting the 80GB version.

I don't know if I want a 360 until the price drops again or so. I am not to key on the Nintendo Wii though, the last time I've played on a nintendo system was back in the SNES days.

Since then I've been a Sony type guy. I just like there system a bit more at times and I liked the PS2, so I'm sure I'll like the PS3 just as much.
