From The Hill, 13 February 2021:

"Herrera Beutler released a statement saying that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) had told her about his conversation with Trump on Jan. 6.

"When McCarthy finally reached the president on January 6 and asked him to publicly and forcefully call off the riot, the president initially repeated the falsehood that it was antifa that had breached the Capitol. McCarthy refuted that and told the president that these were Trump supporters. That’s when, according to McCarthy, the president said: 'Well, Kevin, I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are,'" she said."

So, the lie that Antifa breached the U.S. Capitol on 06 January 2021 was exposed as a lie by a Republican member of the U.S. Congress.

Gee, who spread that lie in the first place? It wasn't Democrats.

they're called rinos, republicans in name only. the riot is a particularly large can of worms to open with lots of videos and opinions on either side.
of course you know currently the president is being impeached on this...i am sure there will be a lot of stuff going forward during the trial and my guess is he will get off again. so your point was a republican denounced trump...wow lot of hard work you did there.

3rd party hear say means nothing just as it did with the witnesses at the first impeachment trial. He said , she said. Without an investigation that’s what you end up with. He will and should be acquitted again. Another banana republic type trial that is unconstitutional, but this is common practice for the party of hate and corruption also called Democrats....

a "lie" !!! Even though they've been caught on video and VERIFIED (some self-identify as antifa members) and some have been charged and are awaiting trial ?? But nothing unusual here. Facts to some people don't mean anything.

there is a video where biden says something to the effect "we are interested in truth here, not facts". one way or the other...being older i can relate, he is probably on medication and it does make one rather foggy headed...why i quit taking them, part of the reason is watching Biden.

i would personally admire Trump if he had been able to pull off a coup because i tend to like dictators. I only support leaders who are chosen by God to rule or who have taken power by force. One of the reasons I left the USA is I hate Democracy as i view all the leader of Democracies as weaklings. i like strong, inspirational leaders like Vladimir Putin, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Muammar Qaddafi, or Hugo Chavez who say what they think as opposed to what everyone wants to hear

I agree ... but the house put on all the right talking points to show trumps
guilt ... some even said a few days before he would be acquitted... so it was not such a shock at the end ... also if there is one person to blame... it lays in the bloody hands of Mitch McConnell...
