For any specific reason , you don’t say . Generally I like either a dim room or one with a light that is changing multiple colours

candle light is the best -- oh, a red light bulb works well too, but overall not too much light.

my front door leaks a little light so it's like a night light...really dark nights if i am anxious i might light a candle...

The older you get, the less light you have is probably better.
