So sorry to hear your sad news Apple . Sending strength across the oceans to you and your family  Hope your mum is coping with her symptoms and showing improvement .

Can you explain to me what a “watcher” is . Usually if a patient is in covid isolation there are strict visiting protocols at the hospital to minimise spread . Are you in quarantine ??

yes God is good,Mom is quite okay now ,minimal use of oxygen and can eat unlike the other day that she cod not even sleep and breathe hence the use of oxygen all thru the night,
Watcher means one who stays up and watch over a patient ,attending to all her needs ,yes we are in quarantine, and in isolation facility. No visitor allowed,I am not even allowed to go out,so all things needed ,food and etc from my family will be brot in our room by "astronauts"haha i mean nurses or personnel in PPE .
Good hospital has strong internet so we can communicate with our family via video call, meeting them virtually.

ask if they are able to provide masks and gloves for you to wear when in close contact with your mum . Use hand gel if you touch her or any common surfaces you are sharing . Remember to wipe down any frequent high touch surfaces such as your phone and laptop with hospital disinfectant wipes ( there should be a supply in your room ). Some people put clean phones in plastic bags then clean the plastic rather than the phone surface . Use speaker phone rather than bringing phone close to your face .

When removing a mask .. put on gloves .. use just the loops to remove the mask .. avoid touching the front of the mask .. remove gloves and use microbial hand gel .

If you are sharing a toilet .. wear a mask when you enter , ensure it is being disinfected regularly and close the lid before flushing to reduce aerosol spray in a confined place .

sharing a room is certainly difficult but you can still do small things to help minimise your risk . When you do not need to be in close contact with mum .. maintain whatever distance you can . This will be limited by room size ...For example when she is resting or does not need your assistance , then position a chair as far away from her bed as you can for you to sit in . Hope that makes sense . Keep hydrated and stay safe .
