Topic: HAVE U GONE TO CHURCH? | |
---|---|
John 16
1. These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. 2. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. sadily i say 90 percent of the churches do not know how to teach right. How many people read the bible, no they rather go to the church believe every word the pastor says. and go home. so they trust thier life with a person they dont know, therefor tells me they dont care about religion that much. |

It surprises me that 'religious' people put their trust in a fictional being who doesn't exist even though they admit that they cannot prove the existence of this being! Personally I think humans beings are too arrogant and find it hard to admit that when you die, it is no different from when any animal dies. All that remains is memories of the good and bad times.

Anything you have learned today in Church?Preaching or testimonies ,Songs you can remember? Not for Debate..just share. I read and Study Bible myself and with friends at times in Bible Study group. I do attend church not every Sunday in a Building there are services I know the Pastor and I do Online. Many Churches do not all teach Truth of the Scriptures. I do not follow every wind of doctrine out there in the World. ![]() You need to have that Knowledge of Discernment from GOD to learn what is False doctrine. |

many people place their trust in others, like ministers, without seeking wisdom for themselves in a world of distractions. its easy to rely on a third party instead of finding our own path though genuine understanding and reflection.
sadly people are doing that too much |

There is only one person a Christian should trust and that is Jesus. Remember any religious leader, ones from church or TV, are human and can at times fall into sin which has happened over the many years and been brought into the spotlight over the recent years. Now I’m not saying all are like that and there are those who are faithful to God’s word and stick to it praise God

i notice ministers do not understand prophecy and the end times, many reject the idea. so far every church i been to is like this.
others can not explain it right. been to so many lately, and if you do convince them, out of their own pride they deny you and teach their own way to explain it. and the minister will say -- this is hard to understand to the people. yet you yourselves know it is easy to understand i been to so many churches, asked them, one pointed oh he knows, ask him, oh i find him for you, oh i dont have time got to go. others well reject the thought. still there has to be churches that can explain it. i am still searching and asking questions and helping. but i find out after they accept it, they reject you and turn to thier own teaching, and they still confuse the people. that is sad. cause a lot of people do not read the bible, they believe every word the minister says from a third party. yet the ones that know understands all of this. yet we still try why, no one know what happens in 20 years, yo may left an impresion that take root. in 20 years who know what may happen. present yes we judge all the time. future no, only god knows. |

That’s true Tim that churches don’t teach prophecy let alone the end times cause I guess they want people to learn the hard way especially now cause it almost feels like we’re living in the end times. There have been many who say that the end will come on this date or that and then nothing happens. The truth no one knows when it’ll happen but two people God and Jesus. My conclusion is to do your own research to find what you’re looking for.

I never get why people study or follow or read the bible.
Would you do the same with for instance "It" by Stephen King? The bible has been translated so many times that it stands to reason many deviations and mistakes slipped in. Sometimes the omission or altering of 1 letter can change the entire meaning of a text. But the bible isn't pure to begin with as it was construed by a group of men -as in the variety of humans with a penis, no woman had a say- in Nicaea in the year 325. That is: 1800 years ago. They decided what was to come into the so called holy book and what was to be left out as it wasn't convenient for them. It was all about allowing them to stay in power, to get even more power etc. It is not a good representation of the scrolls. It's not for nothing that the Vatican is keeping huge amount of scrolls & texts behind lock & key. They do have the original stuff, but don't want people to know it as it would mean they lose their influence, power, and their billions. One big thing these men did -that has altered societies worldwide to date- is to make woman inferior and man superior. Mary Magdalene was turned into a whore by church while she was Jesus' life partner and equal. They were both of high Essene descend, highly trained and equal which is why they worked together. It's also odd that no one ever thought of the fact that vilifying Mary Magdalene would actually mean Jesus wasn't pure either. I mean, a guy that would hang out with a prostitute? And even if Jesus had chosen to spend his life and Divine work with a prostitute, the message would still have been the same: We are ALL equal!! What the Divine wants for us is to sense and feel for ourselves. Not to blindly follow some man-made (as in by humans with a penis) 1800 year old doctrine. It is obsolete. Blindly following something external (which a religion is) is giving your power away. Follow the what is with-in, not that what is with-out. And think about this: If you need surgery would you see a doctor who practises medicine the way it was done in the year 325? Or would you rather put your trust in an up to date modern doctor? It's the exact same thing with your bible. Some mentioned there are a lot of false doctrines out there. Your bible is one of them. |

By the way, the exact same thing happened in the 16th century in the UK when Henry 8th wanted to divorce his wife, wasn't allowed to and broke with the Vatican.
He then founded the church of England and he and -again male- counsellors decided what was to be integrated in their newly created religion and what was to be left out or altered. Yet to date people follow that religion, make themselves believe it is God-given. They conveniently forget it was merely created by 1 man with an attitude problem who needed a male heir. |

I beg to differ with that conviction as well.
We are not here to play it small, to live in subconscious fear that if we don't we will get punished (judged) later on by a god. We are all part of the Divine and we came here, descended until we could live in a physical body on a physical planet to learn and still keep our vibration high, right in the middle of duality. In other words: descend, overcome limitations and obstacles that duality poses, and to ascend again to a higher vibration. The vibration of Oneness, Peace, Gratitude, Love, Compassion whilst living in a physical body. So far we've made a right mess of it although we have had a golden era long time ago. That era ended as some got into their egos. But there won't be any judgement. There is no punishment. You can, however, disappoint your own self and Soul for not living your full potential, or at least trying to do so. Instead of dimming your light lest you won't get judged/punished, we're meant to stand tall, shine our Light, embrace the greatness that we are! Dare to stick your head above the parapet. Unfortunately religion are construed to keep people in (subconscious) fear and they use very sexy marketing to sell that. Even the nativity story that Jesus was born in a stable. Total BS, meant to make people think that it's okay to be poor and live in lack. After all even Jesus and his parents lived that way! If people would only educate themselves they'd learn totally different things than their religion spoon-feeds them. Learn to think for yourself. Get wiser. Evolve. |
