Definitely would be cool. A couple of days ago, my 11 year old nephew asked me if I could have a super power what would I pick. I chose teleportation, lol. River  Storm Yes! When I talk about super powers with my first graders I say I would love to be able to apparate, like on Harry Potter. Which is basically teleportation, I think. It would be awesome! Hi Bonnie Cool! I love traveling, so it would be so cool to be able to just pop over to where ever I wanted to go, hahaha |

DramaticMuffin I think of Outlander... <THUD> I love Outlander. I've seen the episode (in season 1) where they get married a skadillion times.  OT: Doing group lesson planning via Whatsapp with my grade level team, but procrastinating actually putting my activities into the planning document. Cause procrastinating is what I do.

taking in the sad news of Queen Elizabeth 11 passing today .... watching tributes pouring in !!! Indeed quite a shock, even though it was to be expected one of these days considering her age. I must admit that generally I didn't like her, remembering all the horrific events with Diana, and even later when Diana had passed over refusing to even fly the flag half-mast at Buckingham Palace. All the stories of how harsh and strict she was with her sons when they were just little boys in need of their mum. They still had to address her as queen an wait etc. when entering her work room. Not a warm kind woman. If she hadn't forced Charles to marry someone of certain standing Diana would still be alive today, happy and with a family who loved her and likely with a man who did too. As it went the queen ruined the lives of at least 3 adults and 2 young children. I know over the years many UKers seemed to have forgotten about all that. At the same time I feel it's a shame she didn't do what our queen Beatrix did: let her son take over so she could enjoy the autumn of her life. And in Elizabeth' case maybe find some joy & love at last. At least learn the value of that, even if at an elderly age. Nevertheless I do hope she rests in peace. |
