I think everyone's answer will be different. But for me, if the messages are generic (not tailored for me specifically) or not much thought was put into them, I'm not interested. I like a man who has the gift of gab, as long as he knows how to balance talking about himself with asking questions to show an interest in learning about me.

I live in SE Asia, and Telegram and WhatsApp are widely used here. My doctor's office makes appointments through Telegram, the building I live in communicates with all tennants via WhatsApp. They're common apps, but not used a lot in the U.S.

Thinking last week I had a break from school and I went to Da Nang, Vietnam. I had such a great time! I've been all over most of Asia, but for some reason I have never been to Vietnam until now. Loved it!

Usually on Sunday mornings (around 10:00) I'll either go get a massage or get a mani/pedi. Sometimes afterward I might also go to lunch with a friend or go grocery shopping. Saturdays are my day where I try not to go anywhere, if I can get away with it.

I haven't done any cosmetic surgery yet (although I've done botox to the frown lines a couple of times). But if I had a lot of extra cash, I'd definitely get some lifting done (for body), as long as it looked natural. When it comes to the face though, I'd be a lot more cautious about doing anything permanent. But ask me again in ten years.

I think it varies by Arab country, but I can say that when I lived in Egypt, women did not have the same rights. A man beating his wife was common. Rape was common and rarely prosecuted. If a woman divorced her husband he was always awarded the kids. That was why I could never understand it when some of my female colleagues (expats) would date local men.

Why do people freak out when they get matched or someone of their same gender views them? Remember one thing people you do have the option not to reply or contact them, it’s nothing to freak out over or to be embarrassed about. Exactly. A "match" means nothing on here. Neither does a "like", seeing as the site sends those out randomly on our behalf.

That's wonderful, Crystal! You must feel great about all the things you've achieved. and especially the grandbabies! Congratulations! For me, I moved to a new country (Cambodia) in August and started at a new school. This was such a great move for me. SE Asia is my favorite part of the world, and I love it here. I really like my school, and love the people on my grade-level team. It was the easiest transition I've ever had when moving to a new country/job.
