Just wondering if why some of the male members here asking to add them on Telegram app ,I am not familiar to this app but I've heard that scammers are using this app...true or false?

Very true, along with whatsapp and googlechat.
Anytime someone asks you to go off-site after only a couple of messages is a big red flag. Unless of course you enjoy getting thousands of spam/scam messages. |

Actually, Telegram is a nice message app. More secure than most and reasonably easy to use. Also supports voice and video messaging. I do support staying on Mingle for the basic starter communications. We all need to realize our personal contact information has value to marketing firms and they pay people to get that info out of you.

Best to stay here on Mingle2 until you feel comfortable in using another form of communication, nothing wrong with Mingle2 messaging, and you are sure you will not get abused, and you have the option to block them if things turn sour. Good luck in your search.

I agree on this as way back 2006 when I started exchanging messages to other members on here it took us 2-3 years before we proceed to Skype/Yahoo messenger.

Alternatively, if the person who wants to chat on Telegram is named Sam, he could be your main man.

I've used many messaging apps, like telegram best so far. Signal messaging app looks the same as telegram.
I think, really, that messaging on a dating app or site is best for about a week of heavy messaging, then get a free text now burner number (can use it for messages, voice and video calls). If you can't get into heavy messaging in 2 weeks, closure is a good idea. |

Personally, I think chatting on WhatsApp or Telegram besides Mingle2 can help people connect more naturally and comfortably. Dating apps are great for meeting someone, but sometimes conversations flow better on platforms where communication feels more personal and consistent...Of course, it should only happen when both people feel comfortable and genuinely interested in getting to know each other better. Good Luck On Your Searchs.

I can't see why messaging on whatsapp or any other app would make messaging any more comfortable or natural, or make the conversation "flow better".
