US commercial... "Chicken Soup for the Soul" (WTF???)... Then this so called family saying, "We became a stronger family because of it!" What the bleep? People actually fall for that BS? That's the cheesiest commercial I've ever seen in my life.

Thinking... won't be any painting today as the cleaning lady came an hour later. In one way that suited me better, in another way it means I cannot paint anymore this afternoon as by the time she's gone the proper light will have gone too.

Thinking it's a scary time to be living in the Memphis area right now, I hope it's not as bad as they're expecting it to be. Needless to say I'm heading to the grocery store and don't plan on leaving the house this weekend.

There were expectations of rioting last night due to video footage of five police officers beating a man to death being released, there were protests, but thankfully they were peaceful.

I'm thinking about my parent's birthday today. They share a birthday. My nephew is tomorrow. I need to Call today. Kill 3 birds with 1 stone. It's such an unpleasant call. They put me on speaker phone and everyone talked over each other, then the conversation gets turned around to me. That I'm not ready to date yet, did I meet anyone?, stupid tips on where to go to find men from people that haven't dated in 40 years. I can go on and on.

Thinking how nice it will be this coming up week when I'll be working both Saturdays and Sundays and have Wednesdays through Fridays off. Especially since it's always the weekend when my neighbors are visiting and making lots of noise renovating their property.
