I once saw a quote, “Only a person who risks is free”. Whenever I get really nervous about making a decision or about trying something new, I think about that. I also like this one: “If you obsess over whether you are making the right decision, you are basically assuming that the universe will reward you for one thing and punish you for another. The universe has no fixed agenda. Once you make a decision it will work around that decision. There is no right or wrong, only a series of possibilities that shift with each thought, feeling and action you experience.”

@ DM - Beautiful thoughts and quotes! And very true. OT - I don't like it when people say they're going to be here at 10.00 and then half an hour later still aren't here. Really annoying when ppl don't stick to appointments they made themselves. That means I could've gotten up half an hour later. I hate getting up early, certainly if it's for nothing.

Thinking I need to visualize a nice clear night for tomorrow's full moon drumming circle. It's a 30 minute drive and there's a 58% chance of thunderstorms. Driving at night, when it's raining, is a huge challenge for me.

Thinking... how good it feels to have a shower! Didn't have the time earlier because the handyman came over, and I had to race to the DIY store to get something for him that I'd forgotten. Now fresh & fruity out of the shower, love it!

So, grateful to have found Rhapsody (my guitar). I thought she was stolen, but she was tucked away in a corner in storage. Yes, she has a busted string, but that is an easy fix. Can't wait to play her again. Thinking that my weekend just became even more spectacular!

Thinking... RTFM isn't always helpful... It vaguely describes how to change the battery of my Makita drill, but not how to put it in the charger. Didn't see any images either. Turns out the charger has a fan? I thought I'd done something wrong I'm still not convinced. I don't like that kinda stuff (noise).
