ive just met a WONDERFUL woman here on JSH... shes beautiful, smart, young, and has all the wacky and wierd quirks that i never thought i would find in anyone. But of course, shes thousands of miles away.

I have driven across the country ONCE to be with someone, only to get burned... and quite severe. That doesnt mean i wont try again, but seriously.... how far is TOO far away?

Well, the thing is, one person might say they don't want to go more than next door and someone might fly to the moon to meet someone they think might be special.

But, to answer your question for myself, the guy I'm dating is 250 miles away. Would I go further for someone special? Yes, I would. I don't think I'd go out of the country, though. But, I never say never either flowerforyou flowerforyou

Distance is gauged by how serious you are & how much you will risk to find what your seeking.

Long distance relationships are head. Because eventually you have two choices, end the relationship becasue of the distance, or chance the move closer to see if it works and risk getting hurt. But Weather the distance be 1 mile or 1,000 miles you alwasy have to take a chance when it comes to love.flowerforyou

I don't know, it's up to you. It would suck to go that far and it not work out, but if you think it's worth it, go for it. However, it could not work out if it was local, too. So...good luck!!!

It depends on how you feel about this person. I live in Indiana and I flew to New Zealand....would I fly back to New Zealand to see him again? In a heartbeat!!

Meet halfway and share then both have the same amount to lose or the interest to be there. How far is too far??? Hard to get to know a person and all the stuff if you don't spend alot of time with them.

Maybe you need to step out of your boundaries and then you might meet that "special one." Trust me, it would be great to find someone really close BUT it doesn't always happen that way. I think when you limit yourself to finding someone within so many miles...you might be the one to lose out on someone really good!!!
