1. The Trump 47 Committee, a new fundraising tie-up with the RNC, directs funds to Trump's Save America leadership group before anything goes to the RNC, the invitation shows.

2. The Trump 47 Committee is asking top donors to contribute up to $814,600 per person.

3. The first $6,600 of any person's contribution would go to Trump's presidential campaign

4. A maximum of $5,000 per person would then be allocated to Save America

5. After Save America gets its share, the RNC would get a cut of up to $413,000.

6. In the cases of the biggest contributions, a raft of Republican state parties would get funds too.

So, from 100 attendees, they collected "$50 million," but only $660K goes to Trump's campaign, and the rest goes to his PAC (probably legal bills) and then the RNC, which probably spends it on Trump's legal bills. So effective.

To hear Trump talk about it, and the people around him, it's just a straight line. Look up "project 2025" and read the details for yourself. Steve Bannon is talking it up a lot on his podcast, and other MAGA bloggers are more explicit. I'm not making it up.

Trump has basically pledged to fire all federal workers who don't pledge allegiance to him. He'll have his attorney general just arrest people and waste years with the investigations, with or without evidence, because nobody will stop him. He's said he'll be a dictator "only on day one" but dictators don't just stop being dictators. More likely, he'll just have the DOJ redefine what "dictator" means or what the powers of the president are, to include all the things Trump wants to do.

If Trump wins, all our old gripes about how Trump illegally kept classified documents or invited Russian agents into the Oval Office will look quaint. Trump will sell out the country to them, simply because Putin says nice things to Trump, and then gives him lots and lots of money (in exchange for numerous considerations).
