That is just something I read about and actually remembered. Most of the time I remember the information long after the question was asked so I don't think playing trivia would work out well for me...lol

laugh I cud but it'd be better with paper money.. hard ta write on a coin lol.. have ta start with a 5'er tho.. has ta be an older bill too cuz the new ones aren't really paper.. more like slippery plastic laugh

cool.. thanks GRB.. oh crap.. they're $5, $10, $20 & $50 paper bills.. cud be $100 in there too.. so "willy" shud be only the $5 bill but Canadians are idiots laugh

I just went and looked at that site again, even though it is done by the WheresGeorge people, it is different. For WhersWilly you only need the serial number from the bill. WheresGeorge you have to put in the serial number, year, and denomination. But it does say "any Canadian Bank Note" so maybe the serial numbers are different for each denomination there.

yes.. ours (as I believe all countries currency) have different numbers for different bills.. so I guess we can track'em with just the serial number.. why you'd need the other info is beyond me cuz that number alone shud do the trick..

That would make sense, but the US mint does not do it that way. The same number can be used on the 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollar bills for each year. So collectors will get a set of all the bills that year, I guess the holy grail would be the 000000000001 bills.
