my personal opinion is it is a good idea, but I feel like it may give out a hint of desperation. What is so desperate about giving a lady a rose when picking her up for a date? Its not as if by buying her a rose you think she should automatically jump in bed with you is it? you mean your not supposed to boink for a rose?**** I got 4 dozen pressed in a book..

I will take a singl rose every time.
Better then one guy whom bought me an expensive box of chocolates with perfume. A Rose is simple and sweet. Anything else can be a little intimidating. |

I used to give a gift on my first date....until I realized that usually its the only date I have with that person....I say save the time energy money for the 3rd date....at least by then you can assume its more than just a meeting....

if u give a gift to a person you have not already made a significant connection with (like a first date person, for example), you will make them feel a lot better about THEMSELVES (which is why all the women are saying yes yes do it do it) but it will actually make her lose respect for you, whether she knows it or not.
You will be demonstrating that you are "easy" and therefore less of a man, or however you wanna phrase it. You WILL come off as desperate - I don't care who says otherwise. It's like a woman who gives up sex too easily. It's a really exciting proposition at first so youre all like YES YES ITS GREAT IF A WOMAN GIVE UP SEX EARLIER... but after you get it early, you lose a little respect for her. It's the same thing the other way around, except replace sex with gifts and resources. |
