yea that is true the only time they talk to me is when they want or need
something my brother lives with me and i am done taking care of him. its
time he lives on his own

Kisses, you need to do what you feel is best for you, and not your
family. Just give them time and hopefully they will come around. If not
then just live your life for you. If Rick makes you happy, (and by the
sound of it, he does) then return the love that he gives you and the
both of you live your lives for you.
