I have been told numerous times by several gals that they prefer the dozen roses in a box, to the dozen in a vase with a bear.... Why the box? I mean... it's a box! Is it cuz it's like unwrapping a present? I am deciding what roses to get my sweetheart for Valentine's Day, and I need to know... What's so damn special about the box? Thanks

Because a vase is so common. Boxes are fancy. And yes, it is like unwrapping a present. And the stems are longer when they come in the box, which is sexier. I'm not sure why but I know I feel the box is more attractive.

I don't care either way, box, vase, whatever, I do like different kinds of roses though, I like white ones with red tips, the lavendar roses, there is a rose, I don't recall the name but it's almost silver in appearance...

Either way you decide, just make sure it's her favorite flower, that is better than any stereotypical arrangment out there and shows her you just didn't run into the store and picked up whatever was handy...if she does like the red roses and those are her favorite, grab another flower or two of her liking and have them in the arrangement too...it'll show her that you really thought about her and what she would like....makes for a great start to a great night! Good luck

I am appauled that there are ladies, like Dottie & Snugs, that have never recieved flowers. The younger men need to learn some REAL romance is. I am utterly amazed at the lack of romantic action, I hear of from younger ladies.
No wonder so many younger ladies like older men.

Ladies you have my deepest regrets for the lack actions.

Long stemmed red roses look so beautiful placed in a long white box......its purely for esthetic reason.......of course we have to put them in a vase later........but its just that awe factor when you see them in the box!!flowerforyou
