So Bush is a puppet and his bosses are international. Please enlighten us and tell us the names of his bosses.

Of course you can't because you are what this thread is all about and that is conspiracy nuts who make up crazy ideas, but have no real data to back their moranic way of thinking.

That is a good one. laugh laugh laugh laugh

Conspiracy buffs are those who hate America and all it stands for and their agenda is to destroy our country. Therefore, they blame anything ill on the government or Bush. 9/11 is a prime example.

Another type of conspiracy theorists are those who are out and out crazy and need to be locked up in a loony farm. You can recognize them by their tin hats.

aaronlyric...thank you for citing to a credible source (BBC). Too often people believe that the first hit on a Google search constitutes a believable source.

However, I read the article and I don't think that it proves what you're saying at all. Basically the article reports that "rumours are more rife than ever". Ok, so we've established that some people believe there is a conspiracy. This is not new, nor is it definitive. Some people believe that President Bush is actually a holographic robot. If BBC ran a story reporting that "some people think Bush is a holographic robot", it would be a true report about people's OPINIONS. But it wouldn't prove that the underlying fact is true.

Additionally, this part worries me substantially (and honestly I think it should worry you, too):
"The Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, the London nail-bomber David Copeland and Osama Bin Laden are all said to have bought into the theory that Bilderberg pulls the strings with which national governments dance."

I'm not sure if those are the types of people with whom you would want to align your beliefs.

Sidenote: Does anyone know how to italicize in a post? I hate having to use all capitals to emphasize a point, it makes it sound like angry yelling, haha.

"Shouldn't we expect that the rich and powerful organise things in their own interests. It's called capitalism." it's not so crazy. it's all over the news, you just gotta be patient an wait past the brittney/hiltonness and come back from the short break of more destractertainment. but i don't appreciate you passing judgement on me for tellin you what's on the news, that's

and i happen to love america where i am free to tell you about what's on the news and you are able to be a little prejudice if you want to be. it's cool

Prejudice? Sorry but that won't work with me. Try "intelligence" or "common sense". I am simply offering commentary to the news that has been thrown at me. Think of me as the Andy Rooney of the bomb shelter.
What causes people to go off the deep end and have the self perceived ability to see what the masses cannot?
Two possibilities- Fear and paranoia.

What Is Fear?

Fear is "an unpleasant and often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger."[1] Fear is completely natural and helps people to recognize and respond to dangerous situations and threats. However, healthy fear -- or fear which has a protective function -- can evolve into unhealthy or pathological fear, which can lead to exaggerated and violent behavior.

Paranoia

Paranoid personality disorder is characterized by a distrust of others and a constant suspicion that people around you have sinister motives. People with this disorder tend to have excessive trust in their own knowledge and abilities and usually avoid close relationships with others. They search for hidden meanings in everything and read hostile intentions into the actions of others. They are quick to challenge the loyalties of friends and loved ones and often appear cold and distant to others. They usually shift blame to others (this would explain your choice of the word prejudice) and tend to carry long grudges
Nobody is passing judgment. I hear there is some land to be had at Ruby Ridge in northern Idaho. Don't tell anyone that you heard it from me. glasses

im not claiming to know anything that is not already public knowledge, the statement was on whether you have been equipped with this knowledge from your news or if you haven't heard yet. this is only journalism, no paranoia. just some preparedness, better safe than sorry. and i think that peoples' suspicion is natural when you have a few of the richest people in the world meeting behind closed doors,i wouldn't call it paranoia. evil is done in the shadows of darkness, while good works are done out in the sunshine. fear is of the unknown, but the more the news informs us, the less we fear. so there is no fear, and no paranoia, just concern.
