I work at the front desk of a hotel and so many people just called all at once i didn't save one of the reservations and i don't know anything about the people. I feel like such a jerk! i dont know what to do!!!

 When the people get there and don't have reservations, ask them for a conformation number and tell them that BOB took that reservation and no longer works there but you would be willing to help if possible
|

Does the phone show the numbers of the calls received? Maybe you can narrow it down out of the ones you do have info for.

no my boss sucks and isnt hi tech enough for caller id lol , it would have made things easier though!

i had one of those days yesterday! it happens and if they want a room they will call back. don't be so hard on yourself. it will work out hang in there and have a great day.

When you answer the phone tell them your name is something else. That way if they call back complaining that so and so screwd up and that person doesn't work there, they're the ones who end up looking like idiots.
