It happens. Just forget those people and move on. I get cracks all the time about my looks. It does hurt, but you can't base your self esteem on them. There is someone out there who will accept you no matter what.

I could understand in the business world..tats and piercing all over..well there you made a bad choice to try to mix "originality" in with "business" But from a personal standpoint, there should be no problems.
