not on this site. yet.

i had a couple of dates from another site, and the they were all (except for one- we're still friends) a complete waste of time. so you can tell i have a lot of reservations about online dating sites.

i met a 25 yr old and a 42 yr old. The 25 yr old was ok, kind of boring. Haven't seen him again. I am still in contact with the 42 yr old, but have only seen him once. We talk on the phone pretty often. He's very nice.
Also met a guy on Yahoo Personals and that is going quite well. He came to the annual McCauley family Christmas party with me on Dec 14. He offered to accompany me to my Dad's funeral yesterday and he did. That was so kind of him. He's a good man. He drives a "mac" truck at night.

I guess we are the big winners then. We (Eileen and I) have found a match that is going very well. So well in fact, that I am meeting her pareents in less than 2 weeks. If this kind of love can be found by a guy like me, then the guys on here that are way better than me should be able to find someone as well. Just keep your eyes open and be nice.

Havent met the one I really want to ...yet. Not giving up tho. Maybe...someday

i've met in person 2 people from this site so far

the first one - things were fine til he went home, then he got possessive (i couldn't do anything in my life w/out his ok first)

the 2nd one - there was more on his part than mine

both however, have a certain quality about them, that was missing..i don't know if there's a term for it, but.. it's like... they didn't mix well with normal everyday people that you'd see in town, or in your neighborhood..

something about them wasn't quite right..as tho there was a certain connection requirement that just wasn't happening inside themselves....

i talked with a guy on here, that outright lied to me, about his appearance..i only found out AFTER he sent me a picture of himself, that was 6 yrs old! he was nothing like he said he was..never bothered meeting him..

im talkin to a guy right now, that seems to be everything he says he is... so far at least

I met someone on this site. He was shorter than he stated in his profile he was 5'5". I am 5'5" and he was at least 3 inches shorter. I had to bend my knees slightly to kiss him. That was not the problem.

As time went on, things such as jealous traits, wanting to move very quickly, and public displays of affection began to be apparent. I broke it off as soon as I started adding up the issues that bothered me. Singly, the issues would not have been deal breakers, but when looking at the whole picture I knew it would never work.

I offered friendship, but he will not even respond to me. That makes me feel a little bad, because I know that rejection hurts. I hate that it was left that way.

First moose knuckle guy and now short jealous guy... What could you have done to deserve this?

Talked seriously with four guys:

Number One: Could IM with wit but in person could barely put a coherent sentence together (oh, and did I mention tried to stiff the waitress?)

Number Two: Only made it to the phone stage before psycho behavior set in along with profanity (Thank god, he is two states away!)

Number Three: "Shrug" pretty much sums up the experience.

But number four, oh number four! My current boyfriend and love. A man who gets what I am about on every level. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!

Moral of the story: Three strikes may be out in baseball, but not in the (surreal) life of online dating.

Nope. Came kind close once... actually nope. Not close.

Oh well, something will happen when it happens.
