to the owners of the site
Folks -
We are trying to get rid of this ad. Normally Google is pretty good about not allowing these types of ads, but somehow this slipped through. We're doing our best to block it and will keep working on the problem. Thanks for your patience. |

Folks,
We're trying to get rid of that ad. Normally Google is pretty good about blocking ads like that, but somehow that one slipped through their controls. We're doing our best to block it, and we will keep working on the issue. Thanks for your patience. |

We absolutely do NOT sell your email address to anyone. We have never sold an email address EVER. If you are getting spam to your email inbox, it is NOT from us or any partner of ours.
We hate spam as much as anyone, and we would never spam our users or do anything to cause them to get spam. |

site issue
Sorry folks, I was working on something and I broke the site pretty badly there for a bit. I patched everything up though and it should be working fine now.
Sorry again. |

By popular demand, we've added the ability to edit the subject of a topic, even after the topic has already been started. The following restrictions apply:
- You can only edit the subject of topics you've started - Subjects and posts are only editable within 60 minutes of creating the topic - You can only edit the subject of the original topic, i.e. if a topic has been continued into a "Part 2", etc., the subject of any of the parts can no longer be edited. Let us know if you experience any problems with the new feature. Thanks, and hope you are all enjoying the site! |

Sorry folks - is the site still slow for you? We're definitely getting reports from a lot of people about slowness, but it appears to be intermittent and we're still trying to track down the source. Please let us know if you are still experiencing slow page loads.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully we'll get this all sorted out shortly. |

Ah yes, you definitely need cookies enabled to log on. Thanks for sharing your solutions with us. And the email address is a good suggestion - thanks.

Sent Mail
Can you tell me where you see "sent" popping up? When you click on "Mail" at the top of the screen, once the page finishes loading there should be a "Sent" link in the row below the main navigation, 2nd from the left. Click on that and you should be able to see your sent messages.
Is that the link that is disappearing on you? If so, can you tell me what browser and operating system you are using? |

Meet Hot Singles
That's a bug - we'll get that fixed ASAP. Thanks for letting us know.
And yes - we're asking people to try to post serious responses only to posts in the help sections. The reason is that we have new people joining the site with questions, to which people are posting smart-alecky responses. It's just not a very nice way to welcome people who are trying to understand how mingle2 works. We don't want to put a damper on the fun of the forums, but we also want to make sure that users who need help get the answers they need. |

help
You don't need to click on reply. When you are reading a message, at the bottom of the message, you'll see an area where you can write your reply right on the same page. You can immediately start typing in that box - there's nothing you need to hit before doing so. Just type your reply in the box and hit "Send Message" - that will send your reply.

mingle2 alerting me?
Sorry drb52, that was actually a bug. Email alerts were being sent when someone added you as a favorite regardless of your email preferences.
Thanks for letting us know about the issue. We believe it should be fixed now, so if you still receive any more email alerts, please let us know and we'll look into it ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

So slow
It should be fixed now - there was a glitch with one server that we've repaired. If it's still slow, please let us know, but on our end, everything is much zippier now.
And for the record, the problem server would have slowed down JSH also... |

Have you tried using the "Forgot my password" link on mingle2 to have your password resent to you? Try that and login with what was sent to you and let us know if it's working or not.
